Doomsday is the name of the map not the gamemode.
It sounds a bit like that old custom game mode where you had to carry a reskinned intel case in to the enemy base, kinda like a modern escort mode. Could be fun, just not exactly what I was expecting.

we already have MvM rewards in the schema and server code. We're getting 2 game modes it looks like.

If you look at the achievement icons, it clearly looks like you have to pick up intel-like items and carry them to the rocket, as was said above.

Servers are gonna explode with players when they put the new map up. Same happened with Degroot Keep when it was first released :(
