The new SMG sounds great for the way I play.
Alternatively it rewards finishing an enemy off?
By giving them encouragement to go kill more enemies with the SMG
By giving them encouragement to go kill more enemies with the SMG
stupid people will try stupid tactics either way
The nice thing is that in my time zone, (EST, GMT/UTC -5) I have no need to stay up too late to witness updates. Or get up early for that matter.
Same if you're in GMT+2. 7-8PM or so.
stupid people will try stupid tactics either way
I honestly can't see the SMG being used for anything BUT stupid tactics :V I feel like I should verify... I mean Cleaner's Carbine, introduced, not the stock SMG Sorry for not being clear!
The decreased rate of fire and smaller clip pretty much render bum-rushing with the Carbine a moot tactic. I'd rather whip out whatever rifle I have and no-scope the guy once I get the crits.
That rocket has a fairly interesting ability. Seems good on paper, but I guess I have to judge it in use.

That new SMG looks like a nice refreshment. I will either love or hate it though depending if the 3 second crit boost applies to all weapons.

New SMG, new Scatter, and the Dumpster Diver pack? Oh hell yes. And a screenshot from MTP, that's cool too.
where's the rest of the junkyard pack :[
where's the rest of the junkyard pack :[
It was canned. Ba-dumb-tish. :suicide:
I love everything so far. It's great. The only thing I'm nervous about is the Beggar's Bazzoka first line of stat. "Hold fire to load up to 3 rockets" Does it means you have no rockets loaded once you spawn and roam around?! I hope not.
where's the rest of the junkyard pack :[
The junkyard pack is big as fuck, having all of it would overshadow pyro on his own update. I'm really holding out for something huge on day 3, though. I'm not really digging the new items as much as you guys are, but that sniper rifle's decapitation passive is SO GOOD.

I wish Valve would do something like Strange parts, except instead of adding unique counters, they add unique passive traits that don't affect gameplay, such as the headshot decapitations.
I'm getting kind of scared that I'll abandon my Scattergun. http://tf2b.com/tf2/item/newageretro/395527164 Every one of those is a legit kill, no farming.
Jarate has its uses and the danger shield isn't a terrible choice either in my opinion.
I have yet to experience or witness a situation where a measly 25 extra health is more useful than an excellent backup weapon.
NO.
The vanilla Sniper is perfectly fine. Jarate does nothing but rob you of an actual backup weapon and fuck with bad spies. No Sniper should need the Jarate/Bushwhacka combo if he or she is a traditional Sniper. On the front lines (with or without the Huntsman), I would say that it could be useful. I just prefer the SMG in those cases. /unpopularopinion
Maybe this new sniper will be the one to replace my current rifle... though time will tell, for now, none may know.

It lets you extinguish allies on fire/covered in milk/etc. It also allows you to make super big pushes with your team with timed throws on large groups of enemies. The SMG is a good backup weapon but it's not as versatile as Jarate. Bushwhacka/Jarate gives snipers an UNFORGIVING edge in close combat, much more than an SMG would. IMHO: Jarate is the single most useful sniper secondary.
Oh damn, I always wanted a sniper rifle to decapitate someone, finally it happened!
I always knew there would be a Sniper one day that would blow people's heads off.

I'm surprised there are still people who is possitive about the SMG Most of the people i know go "lol no smg sucks JARATE IS THE ONLY TRUE SECONDARY!" I think I will get the sniper set first

Always fun to charge in a mess and get a few headshots and assist with wise Jarate use. Plus, you can save bros with it.
The Hitman's Heatmaker looks a lot like a WA2000.

Oh, you dodged my Jarate? TOO BAD. CRITICAL HIT -195 YOU'RE DEAD.
