yeah because creating all of those models and new environment didn't take any work i'm sure they had those laying around
and they didn't pour any hype into it - they said "oh btw in a couple days you can watch meet the pyro lol nbd tho". all of the hype was almost entirely community created

Seriously people, why are you complaining about the video? There is hardly anyway to explain the pyro without stealing ideas from past meet the class videos. If it was just serious all it would be is people hiding making spooked comments while he burns down everything. This way was the best way to show his insanity, and somewhat explain him while staying original.

Meet the Medic was over four minutes, explained the background of his medigun, wasn't over the top, remained humorous, had superb animation and scenery, and felt incredibly badass.

I think this was good. Definitely not the best Meet the (I reckon Meet the Medic was the best). This was really funny though.
I think Meet the Soldier is still my favourite of all time though, just for the dialogue.

I'm thinking the pyro is a girl from all of this. The stuff prior to the release like the locker and the purse, the way the pyro tilts it's head when it kills the sniper like girls do all the time when they see something cute and the song.
