Working on the shield thing, I think maybe a damaged corner (like the Targe) could be a good solution to the view problem.... It also seems kind of redundant as it wouldn't offer much protection from people shooting at him, or from the blast from the rocket launcher. Maybe angle it 45 degrees to the left, so the window is kind of on the side of the launcher, like in the same position where some rocket launchers like the liberty launcher and the default have sights.

I would avoid specific numbers for metal, since it's not future proof

The colors look good on it, but I don't like how it shows all the buildings on it, I don't know why, it just sort of bugs me

Agree, I'll make some fancy thing that looks cool for the screen then.
A little something I started working on. Ignore the crappy AO. I haven't properly UVed the model yet, just used flatten mapping since I've just been making sure there's no clipping problems. The model's not quite finished yet. There's still some small tweaking left to do, and such. Then I'll do a better UV, and texture it. I could actually get something more appealingdone if I made something similar with a connection to the a custom backpack, with ammo/air stuff, but that would be assuming Valve would ever made a medigun replacement that is actually a bloody syringue minigun/machine gun. I could do it though, but shooting syringues at players to heal them would be completely absurd haha. ZE HEALING IS NOT AS REWARDING AS ZE HURTING. I mean, if it's putting bullets into the weapon using syringuegun reload animations, I guess it can be done, but you would need the shotgun top to be quite long (as I show in the picture). I tried other way that is basically, well, some kind of automatic shotgun magazine in which you can see the shells actually spinning and running out. This would just look completely weird, so I didn't really went much further with all this. Could it work? I HAVE NO IDEA No, really, I have no idea. I've almost no knowledge when it comes to animations so my guessing is... it might work somehow. This doesn't mean I couldn't get more designs done for a medic shotgun using this animations and actually looking fine, but I doubt it would be something easy to do.

But again, it's a plain stupid design haha The backpack+gun medigun replacement would actually do a better job, I think.
Can anyone help me on how to replace the Scattergun? Merely replacing the c model doesn't work. When I replace the w model, it works fine but obviously no view model. In fact, it is invisible, so I replace the v model correctly by decompiling it and replacing the scatter gun with mine then recompiling, however the model is still invisible. I tried to contact Elbagast to ask how he got his Brawler's Blaster in, but he is likely to ignore. :C Can anyone else help meh?
