Hey guys, I think I'm actually pretty much completely done with the a1 version of my map now! I still have to compile it, take screenshots and build the cubemap, but I'll do that tomorrow.I have a bit of stage fright about throwing it to the judgmental tf2maps wolves, though. Anybody have secrets for making a hat fit a characters head well?
Duplicate the verts of the character's head mesh for the inner lining and build around that, then reduce unnecessary tris on the inside bits when you're done.
Also, in Blender (and I assume the other programs as well) you can set the "Snap to Nearest Plane/Vertex/Edge" option to get your verts to line up perfectly with the character's head while you sculpt.

No clue. I don't see anything in your .qc that should do that. Maybe it has to do with extraneous textures from the original model being left in before exporting to .smd?

Will this make it easier or more difficult to make the hat work when i go to shape it for other classes?

Nah, this is something else. I saw that before though. I pretty much took the original Spy's suit and resized it over the shirtless Heavy Rebbacus made, then I erased the pants Heavy normally wears and replaced them with a bigger set of Spy's pants

Sounds are not by me, I got them from... well, no idea, just had 'em lying around.
Also, would anyone happen to know why there's a "enforcer_shoot" in the gcf which is not the Enforcer's actual sound?
And why the Enforcer's sound(s) are called tf_spy_enforcer_revolver01, tf_spy_enforcer_revolver02, tf_spy_enforcer_revolver03, tf_spy_enforcer_revolver04, tf_spy_enforcer_revolver05 and tf_spy_enforcer_revolver06?
Does anyone have any resource picks of the spy in a default pose from the front and back and, maybe also the side?
What are current thoughts on this? I am basing it off a british police helmet from what I understand. I may get rid of the current ornament and put one there that wont be so tri heavy, maybe the tf2 logo or something. I'll be making a steam logo ornament for the front since I intend for this to be a steam workshop police type thing. Will be all class.

I did something like this. To make them look more like stickers I usually put a white border around it, it makes it look better imo.
