When I compile my hat through Itemtest, it says "OH HEY GOOD JOB COMPILE SUCCESSFUL"
But there's nothing in the folder.

It's worked [I]immaculately[/I] until now. Itemtest works perfectly for my hats. For my misc items and other shit, on the other hand, I use GUIStudioMDL.

I bet the reason no one is helping you with your problem is no one would know how to fix the problem BECAUSE NO USES ITEMTEST TO COMPILE.
Here's a little tutorial I made for using to command line compiler rather than studioGUI a while back:
Have you tried using the default compilier? it's suprisingly easy, all you need to do it create a notepad file that says
[CODE]"%sourcesdk%/bin/orangebox/bin/studiomdl" -nop4 %1
pause[/CODE]
and then name it whatever you like, 'compilier' for example (if you cant spell like me) but change the save as type to all files which lets you edit the filetype name and end it with .cmd rather than .txt like shown:

this doesn't need to be placed in any specific folder to be used btw as you can see where i've saved it in the image. Then all you need to do is drag and drop your .qc into the file like so:

5 ref says you are actually getting an error while compiling that says its using too many characters (limit of like 32 or some stupid shit). You just never noticed it
Talking to Jalcober for finishing touches, but other than that I could call it done:

i think the hat itself is too dark, it looks like a little dark lump on the heavy's head

lol'd. I feel that way too, but if I brighten it, it becomes almost luminescent, like a glow in the dark fabric. How do I fix that?
