But yeah, I was going to add either another layer ontop to put holes in it, or just put it on the texture of the barrels.
If I do this should I actually model the holes (requires lots of polys) or just do it on the texture? (optimistic for modeled, informative for textured)

Wow thank you guys so much for all of the feedback. So I assuming the vertical barrel is better? I am having trouble thinking of how to make a unique looking stock too. It just seems like making a normal one is the easiest thing to do, but that isn't unique at all. D:

When I see that picture I can't help but think about the fact that that shotgun is an Ithaca m37, and that with a different grip, pump, etc. it looks like this:

I whipped these up real quick. I will try to model holes on it, but previous experiences have proved that it is quite difficult to model a hole in a plane.
I almost like the regular side to side barrel one better, but what do you all think?
