I don't think damage done will fit the medic. Perhaps damage healed? Then it would basically be a passive ubercharge.
I'd prefer it over kritz and uber in most situations.

shugo, i got the gold medal.
So, I and Svdl were thinking about the abilities for the Derringer. Always keep in mind, it will have two shots per load and will be inaccurate as hell. We had those ideas:
1) (Mini)Crits on a (fail-)stabbed target. So, when you attack from the front and stab someone, you'll get minicrits with the Derringer. ([B]Agree[/B])
2) After stabbing someone, you get 5 seconds (or maybe two shots) of crits. Might be good if there are many players in a huge group. ([B]Useful[/B])
3) Crits against other players as long as (at least) one sapper is attached to a bulding. ([B]Artistic[/B])
Rate for "Optimistic" if you've got another idea. Please post it then.

The first is ok, but more a continuation of the current spy gameplay. I think #3 would be the most legitimately useful, as it would help encourage spies to actually try to get the more sentry camps. However, it's also far too situational a trade off for any major accuracy drop - might want to rethink that part.
