It makes the backpack icon flash through all the class variants of that medal. Like the gold medal would flash through scout, solider, pyro, demoman, heavy, engineer, medic, and spy versions of the gold medal.
You should make the download picture flash like the icons do, so people don't get confused about it.

It only affects the backpack icon, and it flashes through all 9.

No. It perpetually flashes through all of them no matter what class you equip it as.

When you equip the badge, the emblem on the ACTUAL badge changes to that class's emblem. What he posted was an icon for the loadout/backpack that animates between all nine emblems IN THE ICON, not on the badge.

Is there a mod to fix the medal icon clipping in the backpack without changing it's angle?

Oh, and here's a small contribution to this thread(I made this all the way back on July 31th, 2009 and finally decided to post it).
The current window icon is the TFC logo, this changes it to the TF2 logo.

Shugo: You could take three screenshots, one against backpack colour, one against white, and one against black. Then you could use the difference between the black and white ones (I assume GIMP has this option?) to get an inverted mask for the item.

Or you could just keep going as-is, since it's working fine! ;)

How about a mod like the Spy tag but instead it has the proper class name in a font that the character would use. Naturally it'd be for the new medals.
