Thanks, but it's the other way around: itempickuppanel works (with cheats on) and itempickupsuppression doesn't.

This looks even more badass. Without the Heavy wearing his armour, the Minigun looks like it could blow you into thousands of pieces even from a far distance.
I never knew you could use animated vtf files as anything other than a spray before I saw the animated badges mod.
So after that I thought about making animated images of all weapons you find, and maybe some extra effects when you find a hat (to maximize the satisfaction).
I already gave it a go on Crit-A-Cola (ignore the fact that it's actually Atomic Blast):

Right, the Crit-A-Cola file has only 16 frames and weighs nearly 5 MB.
Oh, and I don't think spinning is necessary, maybe a little bit of fireworks would do just fine.

How about removing the transparency but keeping the reflection?
anyone know what the coding is to add the crit glow effect on weapons? i wanted to use an old weapons pack ([url]http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/56599[/url]) but the uploader hasn't updated it to add them. a friend told me it just takes a simple line of code edit. anyone willing to help a guy out? (the only real reason i'm using this pack is to have extra phong on my weapons. i like the shiny)

It's just an addendum to my previous post.
Spinning would require too much work for not enough satisfying effects, while something like fireworks sprinkling out of the background would make it much easier to do.

Look up "Fixed Bugle and ScoRes" and take a look at the VMTs provided. It should be easy enough to figure out (Even I could :v:) but come back if you can't.
On that note, would someone mind making a mod to remove the critglow lighting particles, but only on the viewmodel, not the worldmodel too?
