Re: Selling the Wiki Cap?
You have to put your response. :frown:
Also, I was trollin'. I'll speak to the guys at the Wiki, get their opinion.
The sent items folder is always empty.
You know Valve's policy. Only those that directly worked significantly on the final asset can get a cut of the profit. Like when Mister Royzo made the blue version of the Frenchman's Beret, but didn't get a self-made version.
Please ask anyway though, I'd love to have little extra cash!

Have had 3DS MAX forever, no good tutorials either. Fuck it. I will never be able to model.
I, like 1000's of others, taught myself how to use it via online resources. No excuses for you.

I know some basic things about modeling.
I know 3ds Max in and out but I just don't have the patience to think of an idea, model it, UVmap it, texture it, etc. It's just too much work :smith:
The wiki cap is only being given out to like, 100 people max :v:
It'd be awesome if I got one. But I only added a few pieces of trivia to some hat and Meet the Team pages.
I got mine now. It's sparkly.
Jesus. Never underestimate the power of microtransactions.
In this case I think the term "macrotransaction" fits better.

I'll trade u a pugilist protector for it!!!
Valve does something that makes everyone think they're greedy.
Turns out to be a technique to give modders who got their items into the game money from sales.
You sneaky bastards.

Well, let's think about it as motiviation. It will attract more modelers.
More modelers = more contributions.
More contributions = more updates.
Everyone wins.
except for valve employees
To all of us runner ups, don't be let down. I'm sure there is plenty more polycount packs to come!
