pretty funny how the croc-set bug was immediately fixed simply because it's an item a large number of people bought from the store
now that's curious. Looking at the schema for how stranges work, the Pip Boy is set up to be a strange
That's kinda bullshit though. Decapitation > Headshots.
You would still die.
But I liked having my SMG fire lasers...
I wonder if the pip-boy was going to be moved to the PDA slot and made strange, but they changed their minds. Looks like it would count sentry kills

that would be so awesome
that would be so awesome
I'm a little preemptively disappointed, I hope they didn't create the PDA slot purely for the purpose of strange PDAs. I was looking forward to new buildings.
Does the birdcage give assists?

You know what? Someone make a list of the items that gives assists in pyroland.

Items such as the Alien Swarm Parasite, Teddy Roosebelt, the Cremator's Conscience, the Bird-Man of Aberdeen, the Pocket Medic, and Balloonicorn change all kills by the wearer that are not assists into assisted kills, with the item's name placed alongside the wearer's own in the kill feed. An item renamed with a Name Tag will show the custom name in the feed.
those items only

What a shame. The Itsy Bitsy Spyer should count too.
Even when the color don't match.
Also the Birdcage, HOUWAR and Scrap Pack. They're all critters that don't get assists yet.
Unusual HazMat Headcase's are broken currently, the unusual particle resides in the chest of the pyro with the unusual. Shame to because it's the first misc for pyro which can be unusual

how did they manage to make the same bug on another one of your items? :o

they could be the opposite of an assist, next to the one you killed's name.
Red Engineer [death icon] Blu Scout + Itsy Bitsy Spyer

Unfortunately due to how the kill feed is set up currently, it's not as easy of a task as having assists since it's already supported. Having dual-kills, while nice, has no coded precedents as of yet, which means that it's less likely than the assisting/killstealing that the buddies and parasites have.

What about the Triboniophorus Tyrannus?
The list is incomplete and therefore we must assume that every item in the game can get assists.
Even the gibus.
Especially the gibus.

Fixed tracers being fired for other weapons (SMGs) while in focus
Damn. That was really cool to see, it reminded me of gunfights in GTA:Vice City, which also had those tracer effects in battles. I will miss that.
Jarate with tracer would look epic too.

To be honest it was my favorite thing about the heatmaker. I also got called a hacker for it on gravelpit, and people would run away from the mighty tracers SMG sniper. Shit was funny.
[editline]3rd July 2012[/editline]
they need to make a new SMG that has tracer rounds. I'd put aside my cleaner's carbine for this anyday.
So they still have not fixed the tie on the Business Casual being the wrong color on blu, or Neo's bottle being broken by not being able to break :(
And while they're at it, even though I'm pretty certain it's supposed to be this way, considering godliness of the weapon, they should really somehow make this not happen. As often.

Wow, what the hell?
You've got a good commentators voice.
Keys have a small chance to uncrate unusuals, bazooka overloads have a small chance to randomly kill someone on the enemy team.
Pretty cool, right?
EDIT: Wasn't me, a guy from reddit. I've got sexier accent.
Could it be? Have we finally reached the levels of required code spaghetti in TF2 where random unpredictable bullshit starts happening every update?!
If so, I am thrilled.
So strange escape plans don't count kills. Why don't they make the S. Escape plan count meters and kilometres (or feet and miles) that the Soldier has ran.
