Using the Degreaser and the Reserve Shooter on your pyro makes you switch lightning-fast, not that it actually matters. Looks funny in third-person, though.

airshot blunts

Here is a video of me playing badly but not dying much with that loadout, decent loadout would use all the time.
How do I pull someone with the airblast? When I airblast someone, they are pushed away, and sometimes when pyros airblast me, I am pulled torwards them.
How do?
If you airblast someone when you have the higher ground (or if you crouch jump) then rather than knocking them away you stall them into the ground and it cancels alll of their momentum. So just crouch-jump airblast someone while your chasing them and they'll stop moving and you can catch up. Super useful against most classes, allows you to get from airblast range to melee range, much easier to get clean meatshots since they aren't moving, and the reserve-shooter actually minicrits against groundstalled opponents.

Tomislav, Dalokoh's Bar, Fists of Steel.
Now that the Sandvich no longer self-heals when thrown, I find that the Dalokoh's Bar is the best option for an eatable that actively abets survivability during combat. The extra 50 HP may not seem like much, but it will force your enemies to expend at least one more shot in order to finish you off. The Tomislav allows for a more aggressive, independent playstyle while the Fists of Steel are invaliable for assailing the otherwise-insurmountable camping spots of spammy explosive classes.
Dalokoh's bar + Fists of Steel will let you survive the showdown taunt.
Okay, played a round with DH/Buff Banner/Equalizer.
One-shot everybody, stop to play a trumpet, keep one-shotting everybody.
If you're playing soldier and using anything but DH+Gunboats or Default, you're mukkin about.
I had the pleasure to play with a certain Soldier for a couple of weeks. I ended up pocketing him because our combo of Buff Banner and Kritzkrieg was simply devastating. Kritz for charging the banner, the banner for leading pushes, constantly flanking the enemy in the meantime, it was glorious.

Rocket jumper

the market gardener
Mukkin about is fun tough.
If only they removed all that damage vulnerability crap on the rocket jumper. As if replacing a primary weapon with the exact same weapon that does no damage isn't bad enough. It might make the set up more viable.
Just a quick question, how many of you here use the Crusader's Crossbow in normal matches?
Well, when I use it, it's mostly for the regeneration bonus from the set, using with the Amputator.
But normally I use the default syringe gun, in my opinion, it's better for self-defence.
Also I have bad aim, can't hit my healing targets (guess that's my fault).
Just a quick question, how many of you here use the Crusader's Crossbow in normal matches?
I rarely ever unequip the medieval medic set. The only time I do, is when I'm playing chain medic with my friends (that is, uber each other with and get ubercharge while ubered with the ubersaw).
Just a quick question, how many of you here use the Crusader's Crossbow in normal matches?
Quite often I equip it at the start of matches for the extra passive healing.
Then 5 minutes in I realsie the crap damage, no auto-reload, impossibility of hitting teammates and enemies make it useless compared to the overdose and I go back to the vita-saw.
I'm quite content with running pure vanilla. :v:
The more you know...:
As a heavy, riding the cart negates all of the brass beast's downsides.
As a pyro, you can capture the last point of dustbowl while performing the mmmph taunt for near invincibility.
Here's one i use for when 2fort is full of sentrys and no one is going spy.
I call it the "Sentry Killer" loadout for scout.
Its a bitch to use in combat. But when you want that sentry down and no one else is helping this helps.
Its the Shortstop + Bonk + Bat of your choice here.

I love using the Shortstop and the Crit-A-Cola together.
Crit-A-Cola lets you seriously hurt people with your shortstop at medium range. The low spread on the shortstop makes it so good. T

Before they started ganking with the Shortstop's reloading speed (and before I graduated into relying on the Scattergun so heavily) CaC and SS was my main loadout. Especially on push maps, where I could run behind the Granary crates, chug, and hug the back wall while minicrit-sniping the other sideline.
I do think that the extreme effects could use a slightly shorter cooldown, though, it's risky enough to use.
When playing Demoknight, do you guys go booties, grenade launcher or Loch-n-Load?
First I start with the booties to rack up two heads, negating the health reduction. After that I switch to Loch-n-Load since I'm pretty confident with my aim. Although it's not as easy as stickies, LnL demoknight is moderately effective at supporting. Treating a 4-head LnL demoknight as a scout with explosives works for me, anyway.

I always either exclusively Demoman or exclusively Demoknight. Booties/Shield/Eyelander is where it's at.
Well, I have four demo loadouts
A-Lnl, jumper, caber (for suicide missions, also useful for when there are many pyros)
B-Stock (the most versatile)
C-One thousand and one demoknight (for when I decide to be a useless piece of shit and OHKO all these nemesises)
D-Swashbuckler's swag+ScoRes (Very challenging defensive loadout. If your sticky trap falls flat, you can rely on your 200 hp and bottle).
I think the stock GL is always the most viable, because the lnl is only better in 1v1. The booties are for fucking around.
going anything but grenade launcher of choice/Chargin Targe/Eyelander skin of choice is heresy.
Full explosive Demoman is best Demoman. Grenade Launcher, Stickybomb Launcher, Ullapool Caber.
Full explosive Demoman is best Demoman. Grenade Launcher, Stickybomb Launcher, Ullapool Caber.
I don't like the concept behind the Ullapool Caber. Sacrificing yourself as a demoman for a random light class is not really worth it since you're one of the most important team-carriers.

Caber is not a weapon for serious play. But if you are fucking around- best weapon ever.

Wasting a life as demoman is not always a big deal since sticky jumps makes it easier for you to be back in the fight quickly after respawn.

The main problem is right the respawn.
I hate when people say that I have no skill because I use the Sydney Sleeper. I use it because A) it helps my team, making some medics uber before they should and some heavy die way faster, and B) When I hit, let's say, a scout running at me, I just take out my smg and mini-crit him till he dies.
well buddy, you don't have much skill
if you're in the ability to shoot the heavy, why not shoot him in the head so he dies?
they just don't like you since sydney sleeper is more of a crutch for snipers who can't score headshots often, it isn't as potent as the sniper rifle since you could just shoot them in the head
its a crutch, there isn't much to say about how the sydney sleeper is better than the stock sniper rifle, unless you're incapable of headshots and you prefer bodyshotting
the point is : why induce mini criticals if you can just kill them right there with a sniper rifle?
It's pretty fun if you got someone pocketing you with an uber.
when you're in a sticky situation (get it lol) the caber can be really useful, especially in an uber
I recall a medic kritzing me, and because setting stickies around myself would be hazardous, i just hit the ground with my caber and killed 3 scouts buzzing around me
I always either exclusively Demoman or exclusively Demoknight. Booties/Shield/Eyelander is where it's at.
never go full demoknight, at least carry a lochnload or a grenade launcher with you because it makes you far more potent and at least you have some ranged attacks
especially the loch, sentry nests with the engineer can be taken down in two pipes, whether or not they're tanking it, boots just dont compare to it
so, you're a knight killing machine who can also lob out nearly instakill pipes into people and sentries

the booties don't compare to the grenade launchers, man, if you just practice aiming you will see that it is such a bad tradeoff

the crusaders crossbow really isn't that good, syringes trump it in close range (where you should be fighting anyway) with 50-55 dps, we have all had moments where we underestimated medics then a fucking volley of syringes wreck you, unexpectedly... amputator i can agree with, because maybe you can taunt in the middle of a battle and heal everyone :V
But the jumper+ulapool fits with my idea of a paratrooper demo.
And it helps with my hatred for snipers. You think you're so cool scoring headshots then taunting? You think you're actually pro and doing anything for your team?
I jump in and specifically aim for them with my ulapool. I don't care if I have to take sentry damage on my way, it's totally worth it. Especially since I have a friend who plays nothing but snipers and always wears a purple anger.
I want to try to use the eyelander with it but this is just too much fun.
yeah until you realize your aim isn't that grand and you can't kill scouts
That's a huge ass post.
Sleeper is fine.
You left your medic to die.
Choose between demo or knight.
You barely take splash damage while standing on the cart due to elevation.
+25 hp can make a difference
Crossbow is a perfect finisher for the enemy who almost died to your pocket ; +1 regen is a big deal.
He isn't mad, that's what a parademo does.*
I always pocker soldiers, and many medics pocket soldiers.
DH is better against scout.
