Sandvich throwing is awesome. I gave mine to some Soldier near death and he thanked me a bunch. It's incredibly useful. Just imagine: When you have an Engi camp up, a Heavy can quickly heal an important teammate, staying fully healed near a dispenser and getting new Sandviches from health kits as needed.
The only problem with Sandvich throwing is that people aren't used to it yet, and if you don't have a mic, they'll never find it.
Just tested this ingame, and the medic doesn't lose any health.

Medic now regens at 3hp a second, the Blut (is supposed to) hurt the medic 2 hp a second, but since the normal regen is 3hp, that makes a blut medic heal 1hp a second, just like it used to. BUT, it's bugged right now, and the medic is not hurt the 2hp for having the blut.
I did read, and I'm just saying that when I tested it, I found no difference.

Seriously? like half of the conversation in this thread is about this. Yeah, they basically buffed the Syringe Gun and Blutsauger, Syringe Gun gets 3 hp per second, Blut gets 1 (when the fix it) for now the Blut also gets 3hp per second AND crits.

Why is everyone so pissed at this? the blutsauger is basically the blutsauger before the update+random crits.

The medic now regenerates 3 health per second normally rather than 1 health per second like he did normally before the update. HOWEVER, when the player has blutsauger equipped, due to the -2 health drain, you only regenerate 1 health pers second.. just like before the update. So basically this is not really a nerf for the blutsauger, due to that it can now crit, the blutsauger has been buffed. However the regular needlegun has been buffed in the sense that you regain health faster than with the blutsauger equipped...
Huh, ability to drop sandviches? Sounds like that Heavy is a Medic... Also, this could yield an interesting tactic. If Heavy leaves the Sandvich somewhere, an enemy could try to steal it, and the Heavy could use alt-fire to reclaim the Sandvich, confusing the enemy whilst you pump them full of lead. Or you could just wait for the enemy to come near the Sandvich, with the Minigun revved, and chew them up once they approach the suspiciously-placed free lunch. I call this tactic Hunter Heavy.

I'm liking the Sandvich Ideas. My Medic not die so much! Shame they buffed the Blut but didn't have the Negative working.. I'm sure they'll fix it. I am liking the idea though. Only 1hp regen is much the same. yay for Syringe Buff.
