I think people are missing it, but this image is supposed to hint that the mini-dispenser could replace the regular dispenser when this pda is equipped, of course its just a suggestion. It would be more fun being able to chose to equipe mini sentry and mini dispenser at the same time or individually. I didn't think of using the dispenser to jump to higher spots, good point I guess that's a bit of a downside.
I suspect the Gunslinger being nerfed to hell and beyond
Bad posts that would get banned on any forum are not what he meant, but posts that are poorly formulated, misinformed, or just terribly faulty arguments.
You read the posts in an unintended reply sequence
I've never read any posts on SPUF hating on FP.

it's not on posts on SPUF, such posts would be deleted.

[t]http://puu.sh/yDlO[/t] Just an example, there are a lot more posts there talking about FP.
note, this thread no longer exists
it's locked... same thing. And it's not even in the TF2 section.
Hm. There has to be some way to nerf the DR without causing an insane amount of butthurt. I don't know how many more DR 'lol ur so noskill an mad i 1337 pro' spies I can take before breaking down in a pile of tears and treats.
Honestly the only way I can think of is further reducing the cloak time.
I was thinking of somewhere along the lines of reducing the damage resistance. Not outright killing it, just reducing it a tad.
Welp, I'm back from my two week vacation. I really honestly believed something would happen during that timeframe and it's really quite depressing to come back to more of the same amount of nothingness. Maybe late June?
SPUF vs FP? Sounds like a tournament in the making to me.
SPUF vs FP? Sounds like a tournament in the making to me.
No no no, forum competitions are just stupid.
SPUF vs FP? Sounds like a tournament in the making to me.
FP wins. SPUF calls FP out for using "scrub tactics like using weapons that aren't Sticky Launcher". Both sides agree to never do anything together again.

I don't get the DR hate. There's the morons who use it to just endlessly die and accomplish nothing, but I love using it on Defense. DR, sneak behind enemy lines, uncloak, chainstab, sneak away, repeat. Unless you're fighting one of the ten Pyros that stop firing the second they "kill" you, you have more or less no resistance to Pyros. Then, once you uncloak, you're at the mercy of the enemy until you can get the cloak back up.
I played on a Valve server earlier tonight. I purchased Quantum Conundrum because I thought it was neat, and I wanted to check out the new promos items while I was at it. So I equiped the Quadwrangler and the Einstein on a Valve server. Guess fucking what The Einstein didn't show up Valve if you're going to do a monthly event that requires restarting the server, either make it mandatory, disable the event or make the items available full-year, but for fuck's sake why aren't you doing your own events
Sorry again guys, I genuinely am sorry. I honestly didn't know the joke would spill over onto Facepunch so quickly.
Im not angry at all! I saw it over on spuf and it was a nice fake arg thing.all in all it was fun

This is interesting. http://www.facebook.com/quantumconundrumgame/posts/290494841047442?notif_t=feed_comment So, ned, what was that about weapons?
Contributors really should have the ability to generate item codes. Like once a week or something they get a code they can give to redeem one of their own items.
Suggest this to Valve. NOW. [sp]If any of my items got in game I would like to do some giveaways like that. :3 [/sp]
Oh god the Fast Learners Everywhere halp
Maybe one code per month then, that should be more reasonable.

The Quadwrangler was designed as a hand-based weapon for the Engie, like the Gunslinger and Short Circuit, I believe.

I doubt we'll have anything going on during the E3 week.

The weapon stuff came from a guy who knew a guy who was making the items, so it was probably him getting a bit ahead. [editline]4th June 2012[/editline]
I doubt we'll have anything going on during the E3 week.
I don't think anyone on the TF2 team will be at E3.
Don't wanna get hopes up, but meet the pyro could always be premiered at e3. Would make sense, if you consider it seems like they've held an update back. Meet the pyro @ e3 = way more interest. And a great way to end the meet the series.
I think the update is being pushed because there's only a dozen people working on TF2, and of those it's basically their hobby now. A multi-million dollar hobby, but still. I'm starting to get this bad feeling in my gut after it hit me that Dota 2 has 10 times as many people working on it, and even with a team that size, gets content updates similar in size to the old styled TF2 major updates. Which means a team of 12 might never be able to ever make something like the Manconomy update ever again.
I want the saxxy update
what I really hope is Valve realizes this and gives us more frequent updates of sizes that are manageable. Stuff like the Deus Ex update, small, but incredibly unique and fun weapons. Or even more like the Cozy Camper, taking old ideas and repurposing them to spread out more content. Because this model is not working, and I think we're in the growing pains stage as TF2's updates start to wane and the team size needs to find their capacity. If a major update that used to take 2 months to put together now takes 6+ months, something is wrong. They need to find the size of "major" update that can fit to their team size, and make sure those are the best damn updates ever. Quality now, versus quantity, which in a humbling sort of way more closely emulates the class updates of old.
