Major Update Speculation Thread V3: Tonight's the Night, forever and always - Games

I can accept things like fire, blood and gore not being team colored, but I think everything that's painted red (unless it's the inside of a mouth or something) should always be team colored blue.

When a new item gets added with a major update, it gets free advertising, and the mad rush of people buying lots of stuff because it's a major update. A week to week item doesn't get that free advertising, so it needs a bit of time to get some sales before being open to the wild. But I wish it was automated, so it wasn't just when Valve remembers. And also they need to change the in-game notice that says the items added weekly always drop, because they don't. But for something like the Last Breath, I don't see adding it to the drop system as affecting its sales. Good items will sell regardless, like Teddy, the Team Captain and all the original Polycount set hats.

People actually got the hat (as the ad showed they would), but when they changed the ad, they took the hats away. They ended up giving the hats back, but it was kind of a lame thing for Valve to do.

I think they were justified in their anger, especially since the ad said they would get the hat, and they actually did get the hat, but then it was taken from them.
