Does anyone think the Painterly filter might be rereleased this next update? Also, I might be late on this but I don't want to scroll through eight pages of rainbows and puns: do the new items (with the exception of the Diary) have the same drop frequency as weapons, or is there any way to know? TF2Outpost is flooded with them, so they can't be that rare.

Well, the TF2 blog still hasn't been updated, so I'm assuming Valve is going to tease us for a day or two until the initial update/blog post.

ah cool, thanks! i was wanting to go back, but this dang thread's moving so fast it's a bit overwhelming at the moment. i hope i can use a nametag on my goldfish, then. he's gonna be my permanent buddy from here on out e: i really think that if there is some secret to be deciphered, that the place to look is the descriptions. They're worded a bit differently than they usually are, and it seems like a good place to hide something. Also, the nine pipe problem set: anybody try it? (i sort of take back the "hype-fatigue" thing. this is fun! still, I think this would have been a lot better before I lost all hope)
