So I was talking with a friend in steam chat and I made a theory: Every day, we get pieces of a diary entry corresponding to one of the 6 items (each entry corresponds to a day, like the Uber Update.) On the 7th day, we get the entire diary; MtP and the update. 6 days, 6 items. If it starts on the 22nd, as implied by the capacitator saying 6.22, the 7th item (diary) will be on a Thursday. HOLY FUCK.

They come with every drop you get. A lot of them seem to be tarnished/ruined/burnt. It's metaphorical trash being thrown away. conspiracy i say inb4 way late

Seems like Diaries (and capacitors?) are on the salvaged crate drop system and the rest of them are on the regular weapon drop system EDIT: Both diaries and capacitors are dropping, probably on the Salvaged Crate "system" [URL]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/2245923[/URL] and [URL]http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/2244968[/URL]

they don't seem to be on the salvaged crate system, moreso the hat system.

These items are entirely useless right now.

By system do you guys mean "rarity"?

They aren't particularly useful at the moment, but that doesn't mean they won't be important in the coming days.

So[I] allegedly[/I] (very likely just more Outpost stupidity), the schema was changed so that diaries don't drop. The wiki contradicts this, but I lack the know-how to do any detective work myself. The guy claimed there was some changelog he'd seen proving his claims, but he hid his post on my trade after I pointed to the wiki.
