Major Update Speculation Thread V3: Tonight's the Night, forever and always - Games

Guys, if there's another update tomorrow, and then on friday, the one on friday will be the 300th update. Notice how both of these added pretty much useless stuff? Seems like Valve is planning something.

To hopefully reduce the number of useless posts, [u]don't bother looking through maps for changes just because you see '2fort'/whatever in the changelogs. There will only be a change if they update the actual BSP, eg maps/ctf_2fort.bsp.[/u]

Wait until later this week when we get some idea of what to do with it from like a blog post or something. and to be completely frank I wish they didn't even bother with this arg sort of thing, it's been half a year. What does the drop system do when it drops a capacitor or diary? Does it replace a rare drop or can it coincide with one?

You see, the Nine Pipe Problem technically has a coded attribute. In this case, they just coded the attribute to actually [i]do[/i] something, which doesn't require TF_English or the Schema, because they just used attributes that were already assigned. If the words are hard coded, no TF_English is needed
