Was expecting Ukelele guy. Was disappoint. I just noticed that the Demo is really one of the more out there in terms of sets. None of his (non-Halloween) miscs really match with another one
Demoman really doesn't have as many items as people like to claim he has.
Demoman really doesn't have as many items as people like to claim he has.
He is tied with the Sniper for least but at least you can pair Sniper miscs to make a nice look. Demo has stutter shades, a photo of an eye, Genie lamp, Spurs, Bombs, and a canister of Pineapple juice.

33 NEW POSTS?! OH GUESS THAT MEANS THERE'S SOMETHING NEW RIGHT GUYS? RIGHT?

The least amount of primaries (that's right, Engineer and Medic beat him!), a pretty bland assortment of secondaries (if you ignore Demoknight he's got 2 unlockable secondaries). 75% of his melees are unusuable (Claymore) or reskins. The actual choices of viable Demoman loadouts is really low, probably the smallest in the game. You basically have Grenade Launcher, you choice of three Sticky Launchers, and then like 3 melees (Pain Train, Bottle and Caber). If you opt for Demoknight, you have one primary, 2 secondaries (one is straight upgrade so... meh) and a half dozen melees, but only three are really viable (Eyelander, Katana and Persuader) Mixing and matching between Demoknight and Demoman give some... interesting combos, but they really don't work well at all together. But really, Demoman sits with barely any weapon choices at all. It's kind of sad that even Medic has more choices than he does.
I find default Demo loadout + Persuader instead of Bottle is probably the best Arena mode config a Demo can run. But anyhow, I hope this next update gives some love to the Demo, there are quite a few good Demo weapons in the workshop.
I too would like some items revolving around demolitions for the Demolitions Man. e: fuck swords is what I'm saying
Swords that don't totally rely on a shield would be fine. More Katana and Skullcutter Less Eyelander and Claymore
Honestly I just want more things that explode, or things that shoot things that explode, or things that shoot things that are triggered by others things and then explode. So yeah exploding swords let's make it happen
Doesn't help that they just nerfed one of the secondaries to limit the amount of usefulness it had
Swords that don't totally rely on a shield would be fine. More Katana and Skullcutter Less Eyelander and Claymore
Katana cannot be sheathed until it draws blood -- you're going to want a shield so you can get close enough to kill someone with it. Skullcutter slows you down -- it's only real use is with a shield charge or a stickyjump (why are you trying to melee instead of lay down more explosions?) The Shields are "optimized" for melee play. You can't really make a melee weapon that doesn't benefit from the shields unless there's a greater incentive to use the sticky launcher with it (ie a Market Gardener parallel for Demoman).
33 NEW POSTS?! OH GUESS THAT MEANS THERE'S SOMETHING NEW RIGHT GUYS? RIGHT?
Silly clover, new things are a myth. Like permanent records, and North Dakota.

Pain Train is very devilish paired with the Sticky Jumper on the right CP map.

Maybe Valve should add a melee that increases in damage the more you travel, kinda like the soda popper except for sticky jumping.
Silly clover, new things are a myth. Like permanent records, and North Dakota.
No, No, No, You forgot to include meet the pyro, the biggest myth of all. it's like bigfoot.
Pan, Pain Train and Caber do fine without shields. Pain Train is very devilish paired with the Sticky Jumper on the right CP map.
Pan is just stock with a different sound. Pain train rarely gets used for actually meleeing, it's primary appeal is the increased capture rate. Caber is the caber. Most people (who have an explosive loadout) use it because the only time they plan on meleeing in the first place is when they're screwed, so they'll take someone with them in the ensuing explosion. The other use is the people who jump at people and blow them up; it's pretty much the Demoman's Market Gardener in that regard -- it's rarely practically-useful.
on the topic of the katana, if memory serves right: It has the bottle's reach.
on the topic of the katana, if memory serves right: It has the bottle's reach.
That's right, according to the wiki, it's the only sword with the base melee range
That's right, according to the wiki, it's the only sword with the base melee range
How cool would it be if it had the boosted reach for both Demo AND Soldier? It'd give the Soldier a slightly better reason to use the damn thing. Not that I'd want to retire my disciplinary action. I love whipping shit too much. Also hey, tomorrow's thursday guys, we might get something great. right? [SUP]...guys?[/SUP] [SUP][SUP][SUP][SUP]anyone?[/SUP][/SUP][/SUP][/SUP]
It's tomorrow for me already, and I haven't got anything yet. But there is still 23.25 hours left. [SUB]right?[/SUB]
I'm calling it now http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=74634713&searchtext= this gets in. been in the shop all of 6 days.
I would sincerely hope it doesn't.

I hope this doesn't get in.
I'm also looking forward to seeing how they'll rebreak the last breath
I'm also looking forward to seeing how they'll rebreak the last breath
After rebreaking it, they'll shrink it again
After rebreaking it, they'll shrink it again
Then after they shrink it, somehow the loch n load gets worse
so eventually we get a shrunken head pyro. Guess that's still Halloween themed
