I was going through a list of some of the mysteries in TF2 and came across the mystery of the guy cut out of the photo of Zepheniah Mann and company. Do you guys think he may finally be revealed soon, or that Valve has just forgotten about him?

Meet the pyro, Man Vs Machine, that missing guy and the 3rd Life-extending machine. It's likely.

I think we must delete enough amount of unneeded item , which doesnt belong to quete from S.Holmes = Banana Peel . we must eleminate the imposible ..
I think they'll only do stuff on Halloween with Zepheniah and that other guy whose name escapes me.

That's the healing canister on the dispenser.
Couple of concept art photos of him unmasked.
Concept art is of no use to us, have you seen some of the shit they came out with during development?

Isn't that the thingy on the side of a dispenser?

That middle guy in that Mann photo might be one of his other children. Grayford Mann. My theory: He made Blutarch and Redmond fight each other so he can destroy them himself easier with his TOBORs. in before boxes
Where did "grayford" come from?
Where did "grayford" come from?
Speculation
I heard someone else say it. Apparently GRAY was leaked in something. I can't back that up, someone else posted it.
I heard someone else say it. Apparently GRAY was leaked in something. I can't back that up, someone else posted it.
The numbers in the very bottom of the burnt capacitor can be translated as GRAY if you take number ordering (A = 01, etc). Grayford was pure speculation.
His father's favorite, Grayford won all the awards in school, went out with the best women, and had the life of luxury. He never worked a day in his life, but had immense wealth and fame, from his father. His father left him nothing but an old dog on his death bed. Left without an income, Grayford decided to attempt to steal his younger brother's fortunes. But how? Grayford had no steady income. He couldn't afford to pay mercenaries to help him fight. So he decided to use his insane wealth to buy mercenaries that didn't need salaries. That couldn't think freely, that were his to do his bidding. One price fits all, perfect mercenaries. This was an ingenious plan, it was an advantage over his brother's stalemate! But his limited resources meant not all the battles could be fought. Grayford has to pick strategic locations for his gray team to strike. MvM_5Gorge MvM_Well MvM_Foundry These would be the key grounds Grayford would need to take. The steel mills of Foundry would prove useful for his army, the liquor companies of Well would bring in income, and the strategic location of Gorge would give him the upper hand. (somewhere in there, the not dying machine is given to him)

oh god this is the second day in a row I wrote TF2 fan-fiction.
If it's accurate then it isn't fanfiction.
MvM_5Gorge MvM_Well MvM_Foundry
Wouldn't MvM_2fort, MvM_gravelpit and MvM_dustbowl make more sense since those are the map that got updated .nav files?
I was going more for the sound caches. The bot nav files are like kilobytes in size, they could just as easily ship them with the update.
oh I didn't realize this was the fanfic thread seriously is there even any basis to the idea of a "grey" team or the whole "delete your bananas" thing other than something some dude on 4chan coughed up out of his dusty asshole we aren't going to know what the piles of trash are for until Valve gives some word of it. up until that point, everything having to do with a grey team or deleting the useless items or interesting quotes from the sherlock holes stories are nothing but wild speculation. I mean I hate to be that guy but there's a bit of a difference between speculation and writing slashfics about the Mann brothers.
I'm looking forward to reading back on this thread and seeing who hits points of the update.
Of course this happens when my headphones break, then my new headphones software crashes when playing any sound at all!
something tells me valve wasn't anticipating everybody to solve the sherlock holmes thing on the first day like they dreamed it up and they were thinking "oh man this'll have them busy for at least two weeks" surprise guys we solved the mystery like instantly and now there's nothing left to solve where's the congratulatory blog post

Yeah... We totally meant to do that... It was all planned out."

They seem to be pacing this one very well. Tuesday the items were added and started to drop. This gave everyone a chance to get some so... When Wednesday hit, and they added the mystery, people already had all the items. However these items have no point, yet. These are clues without a mystery. Which is where update for today (the 299th update) comes in, and we get our mystery, some how. Then friday hits (the 300th update) and we get the equivalent to the doves of last year. It's also the anniversary for the Uber Update, so we might get some actual content, maybe even MvM mode (as the capacitor states).
I am expecting an update tonight (GMT+1) then.
