Major Update Speculation Thread V3: Tonight's the Night, forever and always - Games

For now, we only have mysteries, but no actual goal. I think tonight's update might fix this, giving us something to look for, and to do with all theses junk items. Also, they need to update the game to make the QC items tradable. Maybe even add a workshop item. Maybe this item will have something to do with MTP.

I got a gifted Plank during a gift party. Somehow this will be worth a fuckton :v:

If the answer to the mystery behind these items involves crafting them, the guys with the diaries or burnt capacitor thingies better be smart enough to part with them instead of being the guy who will blackmail the poor sap who wants his embarrasing photos from last night's party back in exchange for only slightly getting the chance to get them back, less both the TF2 community and maybe Valve themselves descend on them like an angry swarm of seaguls from Finding Nemo.

But TBH, I think if it was actually a skybox texture it would look a bit more detailed than that, looks like a paintover of one.

I've been asleep and at work for the past 14 hours, has anything happened since then?

Dammit, seeing how people get all these drops makes me afraid I once again won't be able to get some of the hopefully new weapons fast enough. Buying them will also be out of the question because Valve will give them terribly high prices. I also hope these "junk" items actually turn out to be mostly junk, then see the faces of those who paid unusuals for them.
