This can only mean one thing:

there's some proof for that crafting succeeded thing my friend did

It is unicode symbols. Decoded #8, got this:
0 D X d É
So maybe we should do it with all errors now, and compile it?

It all makes sense now.
45 232 79 149 57 11 49
is banana error #8 in decimal
re-quoting for people just now figuring out that those were hex codes
they don't translate to ascii or unicode (into anything meaningful)
Let's make a public Google doc and put the banana errors in there?
I tried the first couple of the "md5_388_1" etc hashes on a couple of different MD5 lookup sites, and didn't get anything, so they're probably not hints or words or anything.
Maybe this is what they were hinting at when they said "Localisation files updated" in every god damn update

This could actually make sense. The helmet looks like a goldfish bowl.

Well the Engie obviously takes an interest in Banang.
Mine is number 6 and here' the error code
0xd90x9b0x190xab0x4b0xaa0x4b0xa8
It's not hexadecimal, but something definitely uses that type of code
I might be late, but still, wearing the "Eliminating the impossible" set for the medic will cause the mistery items to have different descriptions.
I have crafted the bananas while alive in a server with the fruit shoot set on and, as suspected, I got the banana error message 4.
everybody got different error codes. we need to solve it together. with the power of friendship C:
Hey, I'm pretty sure you don't lose the bananas when you craft them, at least I haven't lost mine.

What? (the reference part)
I converted all errors to ASCII, doesn't really make much sense.

All the errors are here now: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1192347
The actual code seems different every time, even on errors that are the same number
Yo how about crafting other things guys?
don't worry about not getting anything from the successful crafts, by the way.
It probably affects the MYSTERY TIMER
which i hope is not shared among all of us because seriously nobody liked how the potato arg ended come on
guys, error codes are different (like my #8 isn't your #8) so stop thinking it is
Apparently different codes for each number exist, also the error reports appear to use finnish and spanish.
funfact: bananas can efficiently replace wank sockets, as well as provide lubricant for fapping.
Wait, guys. The fruit shoot added a set with the huntsman, with a food-related set bonus. Try that!
A word of note for everyone
code 30 :0X96 0X3C 0XDD 0X00 0X00 0X00 0X06 0X50
^ is the interesting bit. Since in the thread on reddit I can see that his #4 is completely different to mine (the one shown above)
It seems everyone's code # is different.
