maybe the hex values are colors? if it is full color then you'd have to have a set divisible by 3 (and each code is 8 so idk)
No, it isn't. The changes apply to the attribute (88% faster mystery solving time or whatever it was) that the medic set has, I believe the statement on the wiki is a mistake or just a more colloquial reference to the set.
also, it is a new set, i was mistaken.
Maybe the "Hidden Detective Set" isn't the name of the set, but it's a Detective Set that is Hidden!

But the "The Hidden Detective" sounds really wierd to be used as a reference, something like "Detective" or "Sherlock Holmes" would make more sense.
Than again didn't Sherlock Holmes hide his identity to the public? Therefore "Hidden Detective"?
i got error #3 when crafting 4 bananas

That's not a very good source, how does the guy that added that know? Seems weird to be throwing in balance changes with speculation fuel.
No matter how many times I do a craft, I end up with a #6
same but with #4 ;s
Since there is 8 errors and 8 new attributes to the set, they surely are related
On my error I get some << arrows next to my hex numbers.

what
They added MD5 hashes to the set, I've tried cracking them with no luck.
ALSO:
"name" "#TF_Set_HiddenDetective"
That's the items_game.txt name, it is not in game, that's it, there is no other set.
I added that to the wiki because I thought that's what it was called, IGNORE It, it has been fixed.

Pretty sure he advertised his detective works.

"the Hidden Detective set"
The what now?
Guys... what if... no, guys, hear me out on this, what if this actually is an actual error?

We collecting data about this update here : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tCAwc-uwGglub7aIWiqN20juyIvqAZUM6aFCs9GB2ms/edit
(I will try to manage this document ... and sorry for my bad english)
There are 8 errors, but each error has different codes, so there might be a LOT more codes out there.

Broken monitors.
This is moving so fast, I lost the post I was gonna quote. In response to the fella claiming only the banana peel was worth anything:
yeah, but only this exact second. Each item was put on separate drop rate, instead of all sharing the same one, except for the banana. I'm positive a number, if not all, of these items are gonna get their time to shine as well.
Pretty sure he advertised his detective works.
I remembered someone talking about Sherlock Holmes hiding his identity on this thread back when everyone was trying to see if Baker St. was the place the Pyro was burning down or something. Never read the books.
Just checked the schema tracker to make sure there is no new set:
http://git.optf2.com/schema-tracking/commit/?h=teamfortress2
The only things added were the new MD5 hashes on the "mystery solving time decrease" attribute.

Hold on, it's a brand new set?
What items are needed to complete it? Chances are, you can decode the errors with this set on.
Wiki has been changed to say Eliminating the Impossible set. Dunno if this is accurate or not.
[del]Someone with the Private Eye try it while equipped with as many different Spy misc combos as possible. Out of the three that can wear it, Spy definitely relates to hidden the most.[/del]
Snipped for being ninja'd that it's just more confusing code
do you think maybe the number next to code in the crafting message is the order that they were crafted in?

The Hidden Detective is the Medic's set name in item_games

They clearly know something we don't...
"md5_388_4" "0361ca75733f3c21f4ba4ae216e92155"
MD5 is the hash.
388 is the item ID of the private eye, there is no way in hell that's coincidental.
