I just found an error code #4 and an error code #8 that matched 100%
I don't think that number actually matters. It's the code: 123 that matters. That information seems to be the most important.
Again, for those who missed:
The Error # doesn't matter at all. What matters is the code XXX that comes after.
god damn I haven't been this hyped about fruit or vegetables since I was watching those potatoes count down
A banana is a fruit
Your mother is in my bathroom.
thanks I know
The error number doesn't matter it's the code number that counts
Indeed, it's nice to note from this however that:
-Codes are not randomly generated
-Error # is no longer relevant.
The banana error number does not match up with the code # and its hex.
The code number, for me being Code 310 0x04 0xA4 0XEF 0XA3 0X8F 0XC2 0X55 0XFF, is always the same, regardless of the banana error number, which for me was 7.
wow, late, but my code # might be useful

guys we're onto something

We said the same about the bananas: "They are not important" And then we only talk about them.
"Code 328 was d7 2c 61 21 56 75 49 be And I just got Code 329 with 2c 61 21 56 75 49 be ca which is just an offset of one. So, The "code" numer is acting like a memory location, I think. Also, the lower numbers I've seen have had lots of 00 and FFs, which would be expected near the lower end of an image. I think we have to collect them all and stick them in order into an image file of some kind. Finding "code"s 0-5 should show us what
We're going to have to decrypt those md5 hashes in items_game.txt at some point.
Oh god before we get on the fruit vegetables discussion, a vegetable is any edible part of a plant. A fruit contains seeds. Fruits are subsets of vegetables and they are non exclusive terms.
Ok, well it's a little more complex than that, but "vegetable" isn't a clearly defined term, let's leave it at that.

this means we don't have to find every code, just every six or seventh!
Has anyone tried crafting a Banana Peel WITH the Fruit Shoot?
A banana is a fruit
Yes it is.
But did you know that the "tree" a banana grows on isn't a tree at all? It's an herb, since it has no woody tissue.
My error code 368 does not match the one in the doc.
So you guys like... eh.. work together? Ya know, teamwork and stuff, solve mysteries, ye, you keep it up.
I will just emm... grab a beer, look around.
Eh, yeah, see you in 5 pages.

I think two errors with the same 'code' number (1-388) will be identical, regardless of error code (1-8).
upto code 375 here

put your codes forward if you have ones not listed.

Oh god, can people PLEASE stop asking for this. It's been done already!

It'll take more than 3 minutes to figure this out.
Has anyone tried crafting a Banana Peel WITH the Fruit Shoot?
Doesn't work unforuntly, just says no matching Blue print
new plan:
let's not solve it
they're planning on us figuring out what's possible to figure out
super quickly
i mean considering the size and insanity of the playerbase
i wanna see what happens if nobody does anything.
Why doesn't someone just call valve tech support, saying that they're getting a bannana error, I'm sure they could help.

If I wasn't afraid I'm already on Derrick's shitlist I'd try it.
Update on above. It's a PNG.
50 4e 47 (2-4 of the numbers with <<) is "PNG"

"I like eating Spanish" Keep working on it.
I equipped the Eliminating the Impossible to solve some mysteries, and this happened.
