Major Update Speculation Thread V3: Tonight's the Night, forever and always - Games

God dammit how hard is it to pick something from the Warehouse once a week There's more than plenty of awesome things on there EDIT: plus there's 15 people working for hours a day, what is going on?

Sorta in regards to Robin moving to DOTA-ville: Is there any humor or style in that game? Honestly, I've been letting it fly past my radar, cause I hate the whole Fantasy genre. It's getting a bit worrying though, cause it looks like their new games coming out (global offensive, secret-spaceship-game) are more along the lines of serious stories. That's not necessarily a bad thing; I can tell that, pre-orange box, what they made were good games. Just not really up my alley, you know? I don't really give a rat's ass about saving the king's mystical beard whiskers. Then again, I used to hate first person shooters, and was/am sick to death of dang zombies.

TF2 has been my favorite video game since I started playing on my brother's account back in like '08. I was there for all the biggest updates. They can't just let it die now. 2012 IS A BIG YEAR FOR TF2 ...Right? Also, I haven't gotten a beta invite for DOTA 2 yet.

Seriously, what the fuck Valve? This is so not like them. I know, Valve Time, but they explicitly said, "YES, THIS IS FINISHED AND IT IS COMING." Why jerk us around like this? They BETTER have a damn good explaination.

The year the update spigot closed would be a big year. Not a good year, but a big one.

It's still 2012... THERE IS STILL TIME! Edit: I feel like I'm going to be saying this on New Year's Eve.

[b]a LOT[/b] of humour. Hell, there's people complaining that the characters talk/make jokes too much. Hell, there's a guy who rides a bat which says when he kills someone "Have yer seen Bat to the Future?!"

My TF2 skills tanked in the 4 weeks I was in Europe/Turkey.

so what's the point of the workshop if only 2% of it gets added in the game per year

Though I admit that I was expecting to see around 6 new hats/weapons per month when I heard the workshop was announced.

Well, let's hope tomorrow will bring something new. They did it a while ago where they added something on a Friday after Thursday was missed. Here's to optimism.

i think we see a pattern here. Cheaper item release = 2 week gap between releases. I predict that they are making room for the dota 2 workshop scheme of this week is a dota release and next week tf2.
