Well, in that case, let me ask: does each class still have a niche in this mode? Seems like the heavy and engineer would be way more useful than anyone else.

Ah yes, after while they stopped with those scout shenanigans and sent a heavymed at us.
We lost, but still, it was pretty crazy. I hope the real MvM will feel at least a bit like that round.

Probably because of the gameplay possibilities.
I mean, we can guess with stuff like the actual guns, but a Scout Jetpack and a new Medigun?
There's a chance that the jetpack is purely cosmetic (considering there's already a secondary), but still, a new Medigun is always nice.
Considering we have Mediguns that cover the three bases of Offense (Kritz), Defense (Stock), and Support (QF), there's really no telling where they'll go with this new one.
I'm hoping for one of these:
1. Can heal multiple targets
2. Can dispense metal/ammo as well as health
3. Target is incapable of being killed so long as the beam is on them (ie. you're FORCED to shoot the Medic first)
I sure hope, if there is a wave based mode, that it's still not serious enough for a mistake to lead to a wipeout + raeg, like DotA/L4D. After 15 hours of being moaned at SMNC because I don't have a comprehensive knowledge of the game and have a special ability to be grapple-spammed, I am DONE with such games.

We saw all of this shiny stuff like a Medic set, popolus' soldier set and the pyro gardening set. It was never released, but the fact, that they all showed up in the f2p trailer told us, that they've been working on them and then discarded - most likely due to the leak.
Oh well, that's it for today, nothing interesting happened. Again.
