Excuse me?
He probably means played.
How dare they, selling their soul to the devil! Repent!
There may be boots. of some kind.
they better be weapons
They should make a tf2 movie.
I would sell my everything to get tickets.
It should contain confetti Dapper Toppers, pink Essential accessories, green flames Hard Counter, and a limegreen painted Handyman's Handle for artstyle accuracy.
Kind of funny, the Dota2 schema supports painted items, but it doesn't seem like Dota2 itself does.
Which makes a lot of sense, given how poorly Valve managed paint for TF2, adding uneeded colors and making some of the best, style fitting colors super rare.
Paint was not needed in TF2. If only they kept the fitting colors, I'd be more than okay with it. Team colors and the sort, basically anything that isn't out of place. After spending so many time carefully thinking about the color scheme of the game, identifying characters and what not, someone at Valve decided to spit on all that. It was a pink spit. A lime green catarrh.
Now I hope the Dota 2 team has some kind of sensibility left and decides not to fuck it up the same way. I might not like the game at all, they're doing a damn good job so far.
good paint in TF2 is fun, and lets you customize your items a lot.
Like the "good ol days" of FPSs where you could toggle the tint of your player model. Not in a million years would I use green socks, but now that they're yellow I don't mind and like using them. Sometimes default colors are bad, and good paint helps a lot. Stuff like a brown ten gallon or team colored scout socks makes you really appreciate paint.
But bad paint is all everyone ever notices. They needed to be more careful, stick to duller regular colors, make team colors the focus, maybe super rare colors like that one purple and olive, not neon pink and neon green, or black hole void black.
Alright this is starting to get a little tedious.

Dota2 isn't getting paint, or even styles. Only unusual effects on couriers too, and each effect is positioned properly t'boot!
Why are you talking about dota again?

Dota already has psudo-styles, they're just super rare variants of already existing items, and are stand alone.
That's kind of a bad system. Actual styles is a lot better.
Hello TF2 forums, I like to play and discuss about TF2.
Dota already has pseudo-styles, they're just super rare variants of already existing items, and are stand alone.

Because unusuals are just way better in every way possible
I wish they'd add a less horrible pink already. I mean, since we already have Painfully Bright Pink, we might as well have A Slightly Subtler Pink too.
And no, Color No. 216-190-216 is not pink.

salmon is on the verge of being pink
Pale pink would be nice, yeah.
pink needs to be considered a team color and have a sky blue go with it
The same for Slate and Salmon
I want a paint that has the blue of The Value of Teamwork and the red from Team Spirit, maybe adjusted a bit.

Hell no. If a pink hat seriously makes you think a BLU person is from RED, you need to get your eyes checked.
I've gained a new liking to "An Air of Debonair".
I tried it with my Essential accessories, and the color was a really natural yet wholly noticeable color, far less over the top colorful as Team Spirit, and not as terribly dark as the operator's overalls or balaclavas are forever. Sadly I have no picture of it, since I decided I wanted Team Spirit to go with my Bonk Boy get-up.
It also makes the Col Roule look a lot more natural.
Please no.
But Demoman...

On items that cover a large portion of the character, that actually is a very simple mistake to make.
Like a Slate Fast Learner on RED. It screws with the mind.
Yea, slate fast learner is a real problem
I'm laughing at this thread after finding something out about the incoming update, yesterday.

Stop right there, you don't want to go further than that.
God, ya'll are teases
The best part is that I'm actually not lying.
Consider the teasing payback for some of my item concepts being not yet modeled. :v:
Edit: Yeah that's as far as I go.
Dude
post your concepts right now, i'm serious
