I've just checked and this is fake, you must of been playing on a modded server.
the server you played on probably had the random lights color mod
That might be it.
huh, vRudi, HUH?
Okay, so I attempt to launch TF2 (in order to force it to update, since it didn't want to get off its fat ass and do it itself).
I end up getting an error that says this:
Steam.exe (main exception); Cannot open blob archive file:
CMultiFieldBlob(mem-mapped file): Failed to open file
Anyone know how to fix this?

go to your steam folder and delete the blob file

I take what I've said before in the Emporium back.
NOW only the dead know peace from this evil.
Something must seriously be wrong with the Workshop for all that to be the Most Popular.
That's the problem with having a huge audience. Lowest common denominator's always gonna the most prominent. See: SPUF's existence

My server used to run a disco lights mod that would change most light colors in the maps every few seconds.
Meh. Nothing I really care about in this update...
Well, nothing found in my search for clues...
Oh well.
So I went to the history page and not all of the number pictures loaded.

Seems pretty accurate though.
Are replays broken for everyone else as well?
Good to see they are still keeping the saxxies at bay with self sabotage.

Cause of this post, I decided to check.
We're at 293 updates.
Pyro is the third class on the class list.
Clearly, they are saving Meet the Pyro for their big 300th update.
They're saving the Loch-n-Load fix for #400 because demo is 4th class.
So yeah, that rumoured MTP frame is actually from this:

So I just peeked at the Dota 2 blog.
It's so pretty and nice, and they've got a big, fancy update page. You can kinda tell where the best of Valve is right now. I get the impression that all of the old-fashioned Valve love and attention never left, it just moved elsewhere.
I wish DOTA wasn't so hard to get in to, I'd love to experience that sort of attention and love that they're putting in to that game.
I cried when I saw the Rocket Jumper
We fucking won my friends

It’s a popularity contest pretty much when you think about it. However the same thing happen with Valves other IP’s that were under development. I mean when L4D was under development the entire team were behind it 24/7 because it was unique at the time. However once it came out what happened after a year?
I really actually thought that Portal 2 would change things with this cycle. However since Valve never made the game the way they wanted to make it they quickly lost interest (same thing with L4D2). So maybe DotA 2 might change this cycle. However my guess is it all depends on the player’s interest in the game after it gets officially released. Right now the genre itself is kind of cut-throat at the moment.
Wow, I actually forgot that they haven't even started Saxxy Awards 2012 yet. And now it's June.
This has been a really weird, languorous year for poor ol' TF2.
- Hats disappear on death
I really just thought that was an optimization kind of thing. Less hats rolling on the floor means more frames per second for me.
Hopefully the fact that they've been releasing workshop submissions that have been in for a very short time before their implementation means that they have a large backlog of items that they have prepped for the major update.
Hopefully.

they wouldn't force that on those of us who don't play on a microwave

Actually I play on a toaster. Man, back in my day, Pong ran pretty damn good on my toaster.
Then it got DLC. I couldn't run it.
