I doubt an update today, because of some schema stuff. They're probably gonna hype it much as they did with the Uber Update implying it's gonna be as big as the Uber Update.

The "Origin" section is the...well, origin of the item. Where it came from.
You can be sure, if you get items for completing a gamemode, it will be those upgrades mentionned by several people during the whole year.

Yeah, would be pretty cool. I think we now can also be sure that the first big thing of this big year of tf2 is gonna be Mann vs Machine. Now, what we don't know is, if it's tied to Meet the Pyro or the Saxxies or not at all and these two are gonna released later.
My guess is that it's not tied to MtP (Yeah, I'm a bad person, I know), but has it's own machine theme with all that robot stuff.

I doubt that. Aside from the fact it would be stupid, that's the kind of reward to give by completing achievements. And even if there's no achievement, it would have no origin.
What's the point of giving an item this origin if it's just an item to wear like the other 300?

they where removed from the shema 6 min after being added , but they added them back now

Even though dogs would be sooo cool, they probably won't do it, no matter how many bottles of Skittle Vodka we might be necking right now. Tasting the rainbow doesn't always mean there's gold at the end (optimism don't always guarantee good things).

Speaking of which, we need a Cynical rating to compliment the Optimistic rating; i'm thinking a TotalBiscuit "smiley" with a top-hat and his signature sceptical eyebrows would be the best icon for the rating.
