Wouldn't it be great if valve came out one day and said: "Oh sorry guys, all those sound files in the manifest were copied by accident. We scrapped that MVM idea a long time ago. But we're adding more hats today." I for one, think that would be AMAZING. Every day without a good update makes me die a little more on the inside.

All these items which make no sense and have nothing to do with their popularity are annoying, as well as random name changes. If only there was something that could be done about it... Still, it's nice that we are actually getting new things.

Look... I understand Valve's thinking with these workshop items; pick items that are popular, but not stuff that's been at the top for a while. This keeps things interesting by giving us stuff that the community likes, but not the stuff we'll expect. It also saves the REALLY big stuff for when the community needs a morale boost. But there NEEDS to be some quality control. Have a weekly 24 hour poll, pick ten 5-star items at random, update the blog with a poll, and for 24 hours, collect the opinions of the community. It'll still be somewhat random, but it'll ENSURE that whatever gets in is the work of the community. It'll be a bit more work, but it'll be worth it for all the brownie points it'll get the dev team.

This whole Tobor item quality is making me think that their will be prizes for winning MVM. Like getting the weapons of defeated robots or something. Or what is more likely, Exclusive Tobor crates from the robots that you have to open with a Tobor Lock Pick for $2.50 from the Mann Co Store...

I rather like this chest. Glad everyone hates it, maybe it'll drop in price quickly. Demo needs more mics. Granted, more miscs that don't suck. This does kinda suck. I wish they'd give him some Demoman type stuff. All he gets is black guy stuff and medieval chosen one kingly treasure stuff.
