Where the heck were those, I scooped trough the whole dlls and found only those strings.
Oh crap, found them too, I can't believe I missed them.
You would be surprised how much psychology plays a role in video games.
Oh, I know, just thought I'd point it out. I tried making a joke about psychology and releasing this new update, but I couldn't think of one.
Where did you find this?
They are in the server dll as a clear string, you can use winhex to look for yourself or some other tool.
if i just buy AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome because i've already got the video games from the 1st potato sack (thx to my grandma who offered it to me^^), do you think i can also get the bundle promo item ?
Portal/TF2 crossover? Really?
CRSK?
I had a random thought about what that could be, but I kinda thought maybe "CR" and "SK" would be separate, since CRSK didn't make sense together, and came up with:
"cranium" "skull"
I don't really have any basis on anything other than the robot heads from the Workshop and the line of photos, but I guess my guess is as good as any by now, lol :)
Portal/TF2 crossover? Really?
Not just Portal 2. There's also DOG and Zoey.

doesn't mention a promo anymore; it was just copypasta from last year
hopefully tho.. this is a valve universe mega-crossover
Portal/TF2 crossover? Really?
That's what I was thinking. It wouldn't make sense for those 2 universes to merge, considering Half Life will be merged with Portal's universe.
The Combine would get their asses kicked by Saxton Hale.

True, but I never received my fucking Portal 2 skin!
Not just Portal 2. There's also DOG and Zoey.
Portal 3, Half-Life 3, and L4D3 confirmed. My body is so fucking ready.
Localisation strings in the dll, most likely late.

Explain.
Nah, Valve wouldn't do a crossover that huge.
I'd understand if it were little references like in L4D where Ellis says "This is just like TF2!", but there's no way they'd actually have characters in other games.

I used the client DLL.
True, but I never received my fucking Portal 2 skin!
wasn't that just potato hat? i know the snorkeling gear were prizes from tickets
I used the client DLL.
Almost the same thing, there may be more stuff in the server DLL though.
What if each map that MVM is on has a different boss robot, and the robots are based on those characters (Zoey, Dog, Atlas, etc.) even if just the animations or body type, and you can cue up for different bosses instead of just the gamemode itself?
Looking at those Valve job openings stirs up the same blind optimism I had right out of college where I thought I could snag any job I wanted. It was only three years ago, but I still remember looking at that "Localization Writer" opening at Nintendo of America and assuming I'd get it NO SWEAT.
Growing up upper middle class Caucasian does weird things to your brain, man.

There was this weird theory in the comments of a youtube video, saying what if valve was trying to combine all their universes. Guess that guy was right.
I would like to present my resume as an applicant for the Community Developer position.
I am a recent graduate of the LOLLOLOL, with an Honors Bachelor's degree in New Media Interactive Development. New Media is a unique blend of art and technology that allows me to look at projects critically through both major aspects of media, design and development. This degree also gives me advertising experience, with a focus on the user experience of advertisements.
Valve has always been a company I have respected. With their costumer focused ideas for business, and their "do what you want" attitude for employees, Valve truly seems like a dream company to work for. Having said that, I find it just an honor to send my resume to you, in hopes that one day, I to, can be a part of this company. I am familiar with how Valve works, and some of the work flow.
On the social media side, I am an avid member of the Team Fortress 2 community. Going by the handle, ned_ballad, I run a constantly updated thread on Facepunch, where I partake and lead discussion on news related to Team Fortress 2. I have run this thread for more than a year now, constantly partaking in discussion and continuously researching new information about future content updates. Because of this I have fostered a very strong bond with the Team Fortress community, whether it be Facepunch, Steam User Forums, Reddit or even non-specific gaming websites such as GameFAQs and NeoGaf. I have friends who I have seen start to model, and months later, an item of there's was included in TF2. I have given feedback to contributors, and would consider most of them my good friends.
I believe these already established relationships with content creators for Team Fortress 2 would make me an invaluable asset on your team. And I'm no technical slouch either. I contributed item server schema changes for Team Fortress 2, a large changelog making a dozen new items paintable, changing many sound effects, and fixing some nagging graphical bugs. This project I worked on by making a very clear plan, I wrote out my changelog before I began to work. This allowed me to focus on what I really wanted to get completed. In mid-February, after showing this creation to the TF2 Team, they decided to add it to the game. This project provided me with the technical experience to understand schema portions of Dota 2, TF2, and Portal 2. I also have a Wiki Cap, a symbol in Team Fortress 2 that I am a valuable contributor to the official Team Fortress 2 Wiki, another community I have a lot of close friends in.
I also know the culture of the Internet. I have been an avid forum poster my entire life, ranging from my humble beginnings on Nintendo's official message boards (where I was in a leadership position as a "Sage"). I read Reddit, and I keep up to date on the news of the world. I know what you don't do to get attention on the Internet, and I also believe it's something that advertisements seem to ignore. The culture of the Internet is rapidly changing, but at the same time, it has certain social patterns to it that one could explore for better community management. As a member of the Valve team, as a Community Developer, you would gain a person with a rich, already established Internet personality, with already established communities that are familiar with me.
I am a leader, and am able to work in teams. I was lead developer on a website for a local Rochester band, Alberto Alaska. Developed in Flash, this website was an interactive music video that served as an advertisement for the band's new album. It was featured in my college's honor's showcase. I also worked on a team that created an educational iPad app, also in Flash. This project lasted 20 weeks, from concept to sending the app to approval on the App Store. The app went on to be a semi-finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement awards.
On a personal note, Valve and Team Fortress 2 have become huge portions of my life. I love spending time talking about Team Fortress 2, Steam, Dota, Portal and everything else that has come from the best video game company on the planet. It would be the greatest dream come true to be able to talk about Valve as a member of Valve. And not just speaking as a major fan. I feel the future of Valve is the future of PC Gaming, and I want to be a part of that future.
A link to my portfolio can be found here: (LOL NOPE)
Thank you for your consideration,

i'd love to see Dog ripping through some zeds
Finally something interesting is happening.
I seem to find these things a lot... I think i'm just lucky?
I've been away, and a little out of the loop since the last update. I'm aware of the tobor item quality and that's about it.
Could somebody possibly direct me to a proper page number where things started to pick up, or just give me the quick and dirty on what's being speculated upon?
