All in all we lost, but...i somehow actually managed a few kills.
On topic to the speculation of an update, i think from what we're seeing it's going to be some kind of gamemode that overhauls TF2 entirely, going from capturing points and briefcases to a MOBA-esque teamwork simulator.

You do know that since everyone gets to choose what they work on, f00l could still be keeping an eye on TF2 while doing his job? I mean, just because he doesn't work on it doesn't mean he has no idea what's going on.

i know what that leaked valve handbook was saying but a friend who's been to valve clearly saw that its not as "loose" in the office as what the handbook seem to suggest. I always thought that it cant be that loose. There are people in each department that keeps a tab on everyone and i'd imagine you cant just jump department without going through them first.
I find it hard to believe they're going to add characters like DOG and Zoey to the game.
I reckon they put that stuff in to screw with our heads, personally. :P
You know, they may not do anything with the Potato sack. A 2-day sale? That seems awfully short for something this significant, plus wasn't the original up for like, a week? They're probably just doing it for people who never bought it.
I'm getting hyped. Makes me wanna play TF2 for the first time in weeks to celebrate.

No, I've been multiple times, it's not as loose as the handbook showed. But at the same time, when we walked into the dota area, there were 3 guys from steam just shooting the breeze and asking how things were going. Plus, I know everyone is invited to the playtests of new maps and modes. I guess what I was trying to point out is that while you're only going to be working on one thing at a time, it's very easy to find out what's going on in the other departments if one was so inclined.
