Valve has said when a proper style fitting tinfoil hat is submitted they'll add it. This has yet to happen
Apparently tinfoil is hard to texture.

Maybe instead of an actual foil texture, which is too busy, go for more of a silver camo approach, and maybe use the phong and a normal map to simulate a slight texture, but not too intense.
Or just model it to be crunchy and use high phong + envmap? I don't think it would use THAT many extra polies.

And that's what that is, groundwork code. Not some kind of Valve troll or some other weird ideas I've seen on SPUF. It's code they added now so they know if just the code existing causes problems they can fix it. It also allows, what I assume to be a HUGE update, to have less size used by backend stuff we don't care about so they can fit more frontend content stuff we do care about. For example the amount of base stuff that have in the Server DLL now means we can get like 50 more strings of text, which means more items with descriptions, and more general stuff. Probably around 500kb or so of data saved by shipping on monday. And when you have certain game files that is 1-2mb at most, having that extra 500 characters you shipped early helps a lot.

I bet there's more goodies hidden in the files we can't see without decompiling the source code of TF2. They did change stuff in the client files that we just can't access.
I was kinda under the impression MvM was Robot Killing Floor with spawnable bots. Would sure make sense as to why code is already on exist CP/KOTH maps, a MOBA wouldn't really work on a small KOTH map. (Maybe on 5CP but even so.)

To me, it's such a generic and boring gameplay. I can never get into DOTA 2 and Super MNC, I've tried them, just can't.
