I think getting a hat on your birthday would be a good idea.

Guys I have to make a question. I want the new Demoman weapon but I need a Dead Ringer, should I sacrifice my only Dead Ringer? Anyway I don't use it.

You had to provide a DOB when you joined steam (I believe). The only issue I can see would be people creating accounts and trading the hats to another account. This could be solved by having to have had the game for a certain amount of time (eg: the second birthday you have since having bought the game). Or just make them "un-trade-able".

Silly me guys. A stupid guy told me that for new Sniper weapons you need a jarate+ dead ringer. So should I craft repeated weapons to get a hat or wait to craft new weapons?
