Will try that later (I'm on my wiis browser at the moment). Part of the reason I want the 360 version is that I prefer the 360 controller to a mouse/keyboard.
You can use the 360 controller on the PC version, you know. I dont know how because I hate the 360 controller, but I'm sure it's possible.
Xbox tf2 = FAIL.! PC tf2 = EPIC LULZ pyro btw just press w+m1

PC tf2 = EPIC LULZ pyro btw just press w+m1

PC tf2 = EPIC LULZ

EPIC LULZ
+1 dumb
I was gonna say Soldier or Pyro, but probably Soldier. Soldier has a lot of health, high damage, high range...the works. He's one of the better "All around" classes there are. Pyro can be godlike IMO if you know how to use him....sadly a lot of Pyros, even older players, play him like W+M1. A lot of people don't use the compression blast in favor of the instant kill backburner, but I think its a one trick pony. I like deflecting rockets, grenades, stickies, etc etc and even blowing ubers back from a friendly engies buildings or off cliffs. Also a lot of people have the flaregun and it DOES have its uses, but I think the shotgun is more practical, especially when a Soldier gets tired of you deflecting his rockets and pulls HIS shotgun out. Watch this video for Pyro just to see what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRxyJuVx96w&feature=player_embedded Ignore the intro and gay soundtrack, this guy knows how to play Pyro. Also, I used compression blast to save a burning teammate from certain death....he had like 5 hp left when I saved him. There's so many bonuses to using the original flamethrower its crazy. Its like the backburner was made for selfish n00bs who only want tons of kills instead of actually HELPING THE TEAM. Oh wait, you said 360 version. DEMOMAN ALL THE WAY! Takes a "little" time to learn but doesn't he have like 8 grenades per slot on the 360 version, and they're all much stronger than the PC version's grenades?
Go with the medic. No one complains about them, you're helping your team out, you don't have to shoot stuff, and you can just hide behind the big guys and let them do the hard work.
I really don't know fuck all what kind of graphics card or whatever my pc has. I'm just assuming it can't handle tf2 because the last game I tried didn't work (spore). Also inb4 comment marked as dumb.
I'm pretty sure Spore is more of a system hog than TF2.
Go engie it is faily simple build turrets and dispensers. Also if you computer is a desktop get some more ram and a graphics card that will fit in the slots you have cause you can even get a decent pci graphics card.

Sniper is pretty easy to learn and takes plenty of practice to master. I don't know why people are saying it's the easiest. If you are a camping douchebag on 2fort then yeah maybe. On the other hand if you play offensively on cp maps, getting a 3:1 kill:death ratio, then that takes a lot more skill and fast reflexes. It also takes a lot of practice to hit moving targets consistently.

I was a medic for my first few hours, it helps me get used to the maps.
i thought it would be fun doing that test since my computer is shit firefox crashed TWICE when i tried it
Same with me but my rig is fine. It's just a shitty website and it's wrong 7/10 times.
Pyro, Soldier and Sniper. Depending on your style of play. If you're good at Sniper in other games, learning Sniper in this game won't be too hard. Pyro is easy going on beginners, you'll be able to rack up quite a few points with ease. However just because it's easy to play, doesn't mean it's easy to master. Same with soldier, he's pretty easy to just pick up and rack up a couple of nice points... but that ofcourse also doesn't mean he's easily mastered. [editline]12:14PM[/editline]
When playing Pyro on PC, don't use the backburner ever.
When playing Pyro on PC, never use the backburner if you care what other people think of you. People HATE backburner with a passion. No matter iof you're actually good with using it, people WILL hate you.
Depending on your style of play. If you're good at Sniper in other games, learning Sniper in this game won't be too hard.
Thank you for actually adding that, I'm sick of the bullshit in this thread saying that it's easy for everyone because it's point and click, 90% of the people I see playing sniper barely get any kills at all (including me), I'm not saying they shouldn't play sniper, they can't practice if they don't play it, but it's not something everyone can just pick up and play. Obviously people who are naturally good at playing snipers in games or play it a lot in others will have an easy time, but from what I've seen in game, that's not a lot of people.

Pyro isn't as easy of a class on the xbox as it is on pc. The hit range and damage on the pyros flamethrower is weaker I believe, as it was at release and obviously the compression blast is still non-existant. I'd say demo and soldier would probably be your best bests if they are still as powerful as they were during release.

Pyro Hold W + Mouse1
Xbox tf2 = FAIL.! PC tf2 = EPIC LULZ pyro btw just press w+m1
... Shut up. But yeah, just try every class. Play each class for a few minutes and see which suits your playing style best.
Sniper since it's really only aim and shoot. Soldier and Pyro and pretty good overall classes though, once you get past their slight quirks. Scout is also pretty much aim and shoot too, except you have to use your speed to your advantage.
The whole concept of First Person Shooters is aim and shoot. :Dawkins102:
Umm, soldier is good starter class for both versions 360 has the advantage of no updates, but PC has custom maps so it's kind of a tossout
Hey, TF2 for the Xbox kicked ass. (Ive moved on from the Xbox servers but with fond memorys. :D). Best Newbie class in TF2 would be the Heavy, But remember. "A heavy without a medic is a victim".
How are lack of updates an advantage? I would want the 360 version to have the unlockable weapons.
I learned to play TF2 on the 360 version, and still occasionally play it. I started as the Pyro, setting people on fire and running, to get the hang of it. I also found it effective to learn the layout of the maps by following people as the Medic. My sister started as a Pyro and loved it so much that she's never looked back, lol. It's been since February and I still don't think she's touched the other classes.
Engineer or Pyro. Preferably engineer because everyone who can't aim mains as an engineer.
Classes for noobs? Pyro and scout.
scout? SCOUT? how, what an idiot.
Spy, Pyro, Demoman, Medic, Soldier, Scout, Engineer, Heavy or Sniper
Sniper: The point&click adventure of jarman
also try Demoman. Place stickies, wait, explode, repeat.
