I kind of feel like you have black, white, and yellow elements in the other items and that hat colors don't match up either of them and yeah also the phong looks weird, maybe turn the exponent up

Maybe put a buckle on the band or something?

It's really busy, you might be able to release just the vial on his neck and the test tubes as their own set (with the hat), and then the two priest items as their own set.

Does anyone know, is the Smoker's tongue in L4D a particle system? If so I'm hoping I can achieve a similar effect but with toilet paper.
You should probably use the normal medic cross on the hat.

While a hillbilly theme for Engineer isn't out of place at all. Of course I'm not suggesting he should have a flamethrower, but he could have rifle like that modified flamethrower is supposed to be based on. Either way, it's a theme that makes absolutely no sense on Pyro, and that is an existing theme on another class already.

[/QUOTE] If the hand is robotic, it can talk nicely with other robots like the dispenser to get them to upgrade. Minisentry is just a dick and refuses to upgrade.
I'm not suggesting he should make those exact weapons for Engineer, I'm saying he could use the exact theme to make fitting weapons for Engineer, but he shouldn't use that theme for Pyro because it makes as much sense as an Soccer theme for Medic.
It looks nice enough that it doesn't really matter. It's not particularly jarring
