Sorry to bug everyone, but does anyone happen to have the name and location for the choking sound that all classes make when drowning, and the weird gasp sound when they re-surface? I'm working on a miniature sound mod of sorts.

I think those are HL sounds, best to look there for them, sorry I can't be more specific.
Chao has informed me that the TF2 engine doesn't work well with rope particles, so he probably can't get a good trail effect working.

I was able to find the drowning sounds under tf/sound/player/ named drown1.wav, drown2.wav, and drown3.wav, however I can't seem to find the sound where he resurfaces. I'll take another look.

The sound for when the player resurfaces is located in the Source Sounds GCF: sound/player/pl_drown1.wav

You know what's perfect about that? In game, it sounds almost EXACTLY like the Super Mario Sunshine jumps and landings, because all it does it amplify a random sound from the walk cycle. But if I can find any jump sounds, definitely.
