Also, I think one of the issues was the way I was saving the images. For some reason, the images I posted before looked way darker than they did in Blender and Model Viewer. Choosing the "Save for Web" option in Photoshop fixed the issue. Here's the original image I posted before and after I used the option for comparison.

Would be simple enough for heavy but for scout they'd need to completely remake his torso.
Unless you mean they should have it leave him with a hole where the bag connects to his shirt.
or just remove the actual bag itself

I want to believe the Pyro's backpack bodygroup was not because of the Scrap Pack, but rather for the Orchestrina and that they just shipped it early because of the promo, and that had we not got the promo, we'd still have the bodygroup.
That's what I'd [i]like[/i] to believe. Especially since by the time the SP was added, MtP would have been wrapping up and the Orchestrina already modeled.

Making a bagless scout mesh isn't much more than mirroring halves/sections of the torso and poly-stitching the back by hand, assuming that they don't have the original, pre-boolean torso mesh on-hand.
Hell, the naked/shirtless meshes are more work, and we have those already.

It's not just the actual model, it'd need to have its uv remade and rearranged to fit the new torso and they'd need to make a new normal map for it as well

if you didn't mind the strap, they could do a half assy way and just hack away the whole bag leaving a huge hole in Scout's model, that contributors would have to make sure to fill themselves, like Pyro's head group

Here's some (shitty) concepts for a nehru jacket for the Spy and Medic. They are based off the ones James Bond and Dr. No wore in the first 007 movie from 1963. (Dr. Evil, from the Austin Powers movies, also wore one, but zip up). Anyone interested in modeling these?
