http://www.teamfortress.com/bloodbrothers/ Someone needs to make Grey Manns little backpack.
It's easy to tell that thing was inspired by dead space
I still want a Swamp Monster Halloween set for Pyro. I know someone else made that for Demoman, but I still think that it would suit Pyro. He's got a silhouette and a full body suit a lot more reminiscent of stereotypical old "actor in a monster suit" movies, it's easier to make soulless amphibian monster eye lenses for him, he's more mysterious and has a more animalistic hunting playstyle than Demoman, and his muffled voice could be much easier to pass as that of a swamp monster than the much more notably human voice lines of Demoman.
Didn't Lime Dragon already do a Pyro swamp set? Last emporium.
If anyone wants to do the swamp monster set for Pyro, my advice would be to use "gill man" as your inspiration. [sp]After having spent way too much time googling pictures of "Swamp Monster", I later found that the term "Gill man" was the name of the probably most famous design I'd been looking for.[/sp]
I knew that thing looked familiar, but now I know. okay they looked abit more alike in my head, but still
that reminded me of this old concept of mine someone want to model it for halloween? [sp]by agreeing to model an item designed by the one aeon "void" bollig, you are hereby agreeing that the one aeon "void" bollig is the sole texturer of the item, and must not challenge this[/sp]
?
I need to learn flexing and I need to turn the cig into a body group
make the holder a bit bigger and flex it so that the cig is always inside it
I may end up doing that, but it would still have the issue with the smoke. Anyway...does anybody have a link to a facial flexing tutorial handy?
Svdl's halloween set was REALLY Gill man-ey.
I'm fully aware of that set, but like my previous post said, I think it would fit Pyro better.
I'm fully aware of that set, but like my previous post said, I think it would fit Pyro better.
Go poke Svdl and see if he makes it for Pyro too.
"Crackin' cheese, Gromit!" gloves concepted by Deodorant I'm unsure about the colors, I'm still experimenting combinations.
Go poke Svdl and see if he makes it for Pyro too.
I would if I had him in my friends list, and assuming he would not find me too much of a bother to add :v: Should he decline the idea, I don't someone else should feel discouraged to take on the task of making it if they wanted to. Like I've mentioned in the past, I don't think it's wrong to create something just because someone else has created it before. Rivalry is a very good way of ensuring quality, because the only way to beat your competition when you're creating the same product as them is by trying to make your product better than theirs.

[editline]12th August 2012[/editline] Also, I am not really digging the minigun. Don't geet me wrong, it's expertly made but the concept and blocky cubeness of it is kinda eh.
Oh man I need ideas for a halloween pack.
What's the theme? [editline]12th August 2012[/editline] Also, I am not really digging the minigun. Don't geet me wrong, it's expertly made but the concept and blocky cubeness of it is kinda eh.
Farming?
"Crackin' cheese, Gromit!" The gloves and hat have a fighter pilot/coviet commander vibe, which is cool. The cheese and minigun have a farming vibe, which is also cool but completely different. As for individual item feedback.. The flag in the cheese feels overly silly. The minigun is.. Sort of cool, actually. The color scheme is perfect, and while the crank is a bit silly, I think it's just sublte enough to work. I'm a bit unsure about the lamp, but it could work. I also don't like gun barrels that end in cones, but that's a personal hangup that you probably don't need to mind too much. The hat is great, but I think it should be leathery brown like the gloves rather than green. Speaking of which, what's the deal with those red things on the gloves? They confuse and frighten me.
What's the theme?
Basically started out as a russian Tank driver, but it got warped during the process. The russian tank WW2 helmet was already made by Svdl, so I picked another type, and the minigun was partly based on the first russian tractors and artillery gunshields. I'm also working on a shotgun for the secondary, the cheese has nothing much to do with the theme, I just was associating the holes, shape and colors of the other items as cheese.

If you want the set to give a tank driver vibe, I think you should replace the yellow with deep browns and greens.
It looks like you'll have to split it into two packs to me, please don't lose the flag in the cheese
Speaking of which, what's the deal with those red things on the gloves? They confuse and frighten me.
Oh looking at your concept now it's actually having different those holes, more like folds I guess. (and no strings too in this model, hmm.) I assumed they were ventilation(?) holes and just putted a different color.
It looks like you'll have to split it into two packs to me, please don't lose the flag in the cheese
The minigun and the cheese go well together, but they do not go well with the gloves and hat imo. They would probably work a lot better in posterboy style "soviet worker" pack. I also agree about the flag in the cheese being a nice touch, but if he can I think he should flip the cheese around because the way Heavy would be eating it right now looks very illogical. I don't know what could be done with the hat and gloves though, personally I am actually not too fond of them.
I'm in favor of making it two mini-sets. I actually don't know what function the glove-thingies fill, but it's something that a lot of old leather gloves have. [t]http://www.anthonykeithuniforms.co.uk/sg_dentsgloves_content/item/bigbox/gloves.jpg[/t]
Turns out pyro's suit isn't radiation proof... Still basecolours and has jigglebones. This needs a texturer by the way.

I have a question for NeoDement, did you update your Consistent Kill Icons mod for the Triad Pack weapons yet?
Rough sketch I did in paint [t]http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l189/Simski_2006/gillman.png[/t]
There's no way you did that in paint.
There's no way you did that in paint.
Protip: :v:
but that's the scrub paint
but that's the scrub paint
I miss windows Vista paint, but I don't know how to get my hands on it. Regardless, I'm starting to get used to it, despite it's horrible forced anti-alias when using the brush :(
As requested I've added a tie clip. Hopefully this will help.
