As requested I've added a tie clip. Hopefully this will help.
What is it with you and open suit-tie items?
I miss windows Vista paint, but I don't know how to get my hands on it. Regardless, I'm starting to get used to it, despite it's horrible forced anti-alias when using the brush :(
http://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/software/180470d1319380023-vista-ms-paint-win7-paint.rar Yep.
XP paint 5ever
What is it with you and open suit-tie items?
This is kibbleknights concept so I'm following that but things like this are a bit more challenging than the usual so it's always a new learning experience.
http://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/software/180470d1319380023-vista-ms-paint-win7-paint.rar Yep.
Seems that it's XP paint, not vista. I like vista better, but this is very good regardless. Thanks :3
Rough sketch I did in paint
Yeah, While svdl's demoman lake monster was neat as heck I think the idea might work out better for pyro. The demo one covered his bright arms with a much darker color and both the feet and arm parts of it conflicted with both kinds of his passive weapons.
Pyro has the perfect setup for being turned into a swamp monster. You can create a misc that will replace his canister and add flippers and such to his body, you can replace his entire head with that of a swamp monster, and you can create protruding lenses that look like soulless amphibian eyes. Best of all, these changes can also merge well with and make his his rubbery suit look like slimy amphibian skin.
Rough sketch I did in paint
I want to make that.
Rough sketch I did in paint
Hah. I don't really like the swamp monster set idea, but after seeing this sketch I actually want to see it made. That sounded less smugly condescending in my head. Bottom line is: Great concept pic!
I want to make that.
I will love you forever if you do <3
Pyro VS Engineer THE IMAGE[/img]
Can you make it bigger?I think I still cannot see it.
How about for Heavy, a King Kong set?
I'm just wondering if I missed something, how come everyone is making Halloween items? It's August! I've been working on some concepts, I may post them later.
I'm just wondering if I missed something, how come everyone is making Halloween items? It's August! I've been working on some concepts, I may post them later.
really we're starting a little late :v:
Hey, we're doing Halloween items? You know what's pretty spooky? Bane's Mask! ... But if you want a more serious suggestion, I've always thought ultra-grotesque fleshy mutations a la "The Thing" would be pretty cool to see made into items. Maybe veiny mouth-hands for Heavy as fist replacements.

Not sure if has been asked before. Requesting the Wingstick as Flying Guillotine replacement.
You are going to be pleasantly surprised
It was a hard choice whether to rate this post Winner or Friendly.
Hey, we're doing Halloween items? You know what's pretty spooky? Bane's Mask!
Disregarding that you're joking about it being spooky, I think the idea of this item getting in the game is a bit too optimistic. You might get someone to do it for you as a mod, but Bane's mask is not something really fitting any of the character's stereotypes and personalities well, and Valve probably want to avoid items based on or obviously inspired by a very recent major title movie releases. The movie is from the 80's and doesn't have any real 1950/1960's feel or stereotypes about it what so ever, and I think cosmetic items inspired by The Thing could be too grotesque even for TF2.
There's "The Thing from Another World" which was made in 1951 though. And now for something completely different:

It's more about seeing really interesting shit made in the TF2 style. Plus with that Bane mask I do intend to, at some point, re-create the TDKR fight scene in SFM with it.

Although usually most people don't like making things if they don't think they'd be likely to be accepted into the game. Although from constructor's post I'm guessing you're in luck :v:
This isn't exactly Halloween related, but I did make some Pyro concepts. It's just supposed to be a Pyro in school.

They're two seperate miscs. The second one was terribly drawn, but I have this as reference. The first is a vest with a stitched on icon for the Pyro. It would deactivate the Grenades bodygroup. The second one is a classic 80s backpack that deactivates the Backpack bodygroup. Together they would create the The Searing Scholarship item set.
Although from constructor's post I'm guessing you're in luck :v:
Constructor's a good dude. [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
Hmm... halloween items... What about a bucket of candy to throw for the Scout, with guillotine anims? Or holding the bucket in his other hand and throwing the candy if that works better.
Yeah, i know people tried to make a scarecrow mask before, but well, i'm making my own for this halloween set.It has got a pretty plain texture for now, and i'll probably add some bumpmaps when i'll add some seams around the head
