Hey everyone, I'd just like to say I love absolutely everyone's work around here, and would love to become a part of it aswell.
awesome, a new community member wanting to become a modder/workshop contributer.
do you need any points on where to start out (like modding tf2 101) or have you got that covered?

How about if you will try to place your monkey into pockets? It will looks better maybe.
For example: Heavy Pocket on his left leg , Medic pocket on left/right leg , Demoman pocket on the right , Pyro pocket.
Someone should make a plush cacodeamon that hovers behind all the classes as a callback to one of the most well known FPS's ever.

like the idea, just not to re-rig 6 bones and go through configuration (which is a major pain in the ass) just for this, it was intended to be bubbles, i guess i could implement it later as a style if i feel the want to do it later.
Glad to see the double-barrel being reworked, had it since it was released. The overly-small rounded details like the ejection port trim and the wiring bugged me, plus the colour scheme that didn't work with Engy's outfit, but it was a damn fine model. Good to see it's getting some renovations!
His thumb seems to clip through the handle in the new model, or is that just me

Ah, excellent. I love that model, glad to see it's being revamped. Seems a tad shorter, though.

Theres some clipping you should fix of course but this looks great so far!
Do you have a texturer already?

The wood textures are way too saturated, take examples from existing wood textures.

Yup, will do.
Requesting mod for mvm robots that replaces them with SMNC classes.
Is the vanilla veteran supposed to have a terrible texture, or did I install it wrong? Cause I'm just getting black spiced up by the occasional bit of brown.
I am going to make sound effects for this.
Actually I'm not even kidding I'm going to attempt to make sounds for most mods that look like they could use custom ones because with soup sounding like old soup ruins the experience of the new soup.
If that makes any sense at all.
Yeah like NeoD said, the concept was designed by myself with SFX in mind. Thanks for the enthusiasm though!

It's a shame we're miles away from february as that would be an amazing valentine's day item
Oh wow that didn't even cross my mind. The SFX i've got are very gory, so I hope it'll get used for Halloween :)

How's this for wood? Also changed up the mesh a bit.

If you're talking about the shield, I think it looks sort of good but way too blurry. The club looks good, though I would personally find a slightly lighter and less reddish hue more appealing.

My body is ready.
Thanks for the comments so far, here's a better 360 view of the shield:

It's still pretty WIP but please feel free to do a paintover or whatnot and tell me what's good/bad and what I can improve. Particularly on the wood.
Looks fingerpaintey.
Are you using square brushes? You should really try to draw grain in the wood instead of splotches of brown here and there.
Opening up some textures from TF2 and looks closely at those, that always helps me.

Blurry might have been the wrong word, but it's... Smoky. Cloudy. It looks like brown cotton candy. I'm not a very experienced texturer, but I think you should make a pretty plain base texture with a few long, vertical-only brushtrokes, then add (just a little) clear and crisp wood grain on top of it.

I'd have to drastically size down for some of them, and make "new" pockets to cover them a la the koala, meaning I'd need new textures and therefore a whole new UV, and would have to redo all the textures.

Anybody feel up for texturing this thing, I've got other projects I should have finished and/or started by now for NOTLU2 which I need to work on. I'd rather have this taken from my hands.

Well that was taken damn fast.
