You should also try to make it look a bit more like the moon, since it looks like the sun to me.
One of my friends suggested adding craters to it but I think it would ruin the painted look.
Alrighty, so I'm gonna try my hand at modeling. What's the best free software for beginners (Though I have had some experience with Maya)?

Within an hour or two of the long tutorials you should be able to get a general idea, but you'll need Youtube tutorials to get the models compiled.
Well for all sorts of reasons, the Halloween event can be considered as a slight pass from the usual valve workshop standards. So readability can be overlooked every so slightly in this context. Same deal like what happened last year. (hopefully) Waiting to be flexed. Texture is done by me for those who might be asking.

It'd make it not-clip with the steel jaw and other hats and would also give a "direction" to the blow he recieved.

Stick with [I]player[/I], it makes it pop, as opposed to [I]weapon.[/I]
