And Basil is pretty memorable. I remember back in 1998 when the new sets were released and I wanted to get my hands on this one ASAP
Ooh, yeah, implementing hallovision would be a much much better solution than having things be holiday/full moon restricted,
instead making halloween items work like the pyrovision items, only visible in hollovision and wearing anything of it lets you see everything in halloween mode.
It would clean up the semi unfitting halloween items from regular gameplay while at the same time always make it available.
I suggest not going too crazy with the replacer textures though.
Gibus 2012: Hallovision.
I see a small problem with Hallovision becoming official though. If I recall correctly, the pyrovision textures are loaded at the same time the normal textures are loaded, so the game has 2 texture sets ready at one time. If Hallovision gets added, the game will have 3 texture sets loaded at a time.
The Pyrovision textures are almost entirely color lookup tables. They are one pixel tall. It replaces some textures with solid colors, but mostly it just recolors existing textures. Pyrovision does not replace every texture with an entirely different version.
I thought from that promo shot it was textured. What happened to that?
the texture was terrible, so i'm letting someone else texture it.
I'd be happy to put it in my "texture these later maybe if you learn to texture well one day" folder if you want.
idea for a heavy hat.
"The Don"
or
"The Vito"
(From viva la bam)
The hat would be don vitos hair, lazy eye and would apply a voice filter for heavy to make his speech sound like vitos.

Have another concept:

A toy UFO hanging above the pyro's head.
Maybe with flashing lights?

I'll do it. All class. wink.

But we already have a UFO-looking thing as a pet. It seems a bit redundant to me.

A halloween rainblower would go nicely with this.
A halloween rainblower would go nicely with this.
I had concepted these to go with Quinn and I's Scarecrow set but we decided against them:
"Jack's Latern"

and "The Hellfire Harvester"

they could probably replace the rainblower and lollichop.
Or you could go the other way opposite of pyroland and instead of making "silly" items you could make gruesome renditions of already existing weapons.

Edit: Never mind, solved the problem. Use Extrude, then set it to resize instead of moving. But have this post, anyway, to see what I'm up to.
Hi! Recently, after discovering that I have some modeling experience in me (though, probably like 1% of an average modeler's experience), I wanted to try to make another weapon. lightdasher suggested me to do Amy Rose's Pico-Pico Hammer, and I gladly took the suggestion, because he's a sexy man.
Reference:
[t]http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3946/amyrosepicopicohammer.png[/t]
But, something's left me stuck.
[t]http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/4589/tf2modeling1.png[/t]
You see, I want to try to slightly enlarge the sides of the hammer (the white parts), but when I do so:
[t]http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/1111/tf2modeling2.png[/t]
The main head itself gets enlarged as well. Sure, it looks like it could be turned into another weapon, entirely, but I want to do lightdasher's request. Is there a way to only enlarge the sides of the hammer, and not the main head?
