As the item's original designer and I guess what you could call creative director, I'd like to personally thank you for this.
Ok, so I went sifting through the workshop, and tallied up how many of each kind of item we have in the Night of the Living Update collection.
First, the Soldier has no items yet. Someone needs to get on that.
Sniper and heavy both have 1 item each.
Spy has 4 items.
Demo and Scout both have 6.
Medic has 9.
Engineer has 10.
Finally, Pyro has... 26.
If anyone has had any doubts in the past as to the oversaturation of pyro items, now you know.
Additionally, we have 7 pets, 4 multi-class, and 10 all-class items. None of these numbers include each other.
Keep those numbers in mind when making spooky stuff. It's not fun for anyone when one class has 5 times as many items as another.

Well, I think someone should do a hat of the Soldier in the same style as that Terminator item for the Heavy, and show the Soldier's BRAINS exposed, with the chunks of skin and skull covering his eyes like his helmet. Shouldn't be too hard to pull off.

I'm acctually surprised nobody's gone and done a "The Thing" styled Itemset, There was an easteregg poster (Demo-Thing) for it last year's NOTLU, and It'd be intresting to see what someone would do with it if they modeled it for all-class

Well, according to the Wiki there were over 90 items, but not all of them may have been mentioned on the official update page. So it all depends on what you go by I guess. Either way, [B]CLOSE TO BEATING THE RECORD! WOOO![/B]

i'm trying to make my knife installable but i'm getting problems, i want to send it to the night of the living dead update
I want the knife to replace either the eternal reward, the switchblade or the kunai
So far i have this in my directories:
weapons/c_models/c_eternal_reward
weapons/c_models/c_shogun_kunai
weapons/c_models/c_switchblade
and the model with the respective name in each folder
but it does not work, the weapon is invisible in game and HLMV shows me an error when i try to open one of the aforementioned weapon
For it to work i need to have my original model in it's respective folder:
weapons/c_models/steam account id/spine_carver
then when i load one of the weapons, my knife shows up in the game
i just don't know anymore, maybe i will just pack everything up with the original model in its place
I'm working on a concept for a soldier set at the moment, but I'm really short on time so either someone should almost completely take it off my hands when I post it, or it's most likely not going to be in NotLU and probably also not on the workshop before valve's deadline

I think you may need to get the normal map aligned, but I'm not fully sure

The pyrovision system is confusing. When I paint buildings brown, some objects get painted brown too. Also I agree with chocolate thing. I didn't knew what color I should paint stuff. So I painted them brown. And It looks like chocolate.
