This idea might look neat as a concept, but there would be no logical way for him to upgrade or place buildings with it, no logical way it can be used as an effective melee weapon, and no logical way for him to grip the Pistol, the Wrangler, or the Shotguns.

However I think you should either go with no symbol, or a different symbol. A "flammable" symbol might feel a bit too associated with Pyro's logo.

The yellow could be a bit subdued but otherwise it's amazing.

The Ironsight looks way too tiny for the TF2 world, too.

This is also the first gun I've ever made, for TF2 or any other game.
