It's intended to be decal-compatable. that's why it shares the texture/vmt
Why not make the comic covers decalable?
Valve doesn't really do decals anymore :x
the last two items accepted that had decal ability had the ability turned off.

Progress report on the stahlhelm pyro between me and costa. Dont have access to HLMV so made use of blender cycles for some quick shots.
Do I spy a normal map in that strap?

Ronin, it looks really, really good. No way in hell I could ever dream of doing any texture this good. Amazing.

I could try but, ugh, that would be alot of work. I know there is ways in certain programs to mass rename files, but I cannot remember what programs they are.
so, playin MVM, had a thought.

I was wondering if anyone could take the Gray colored MVM Bot mod and just make their eyes a neon green instead of blue.
I was also wondering if it would be possible to change the uber effect color to green if the file was different than the default BLU team's uber.

Has anyone any info about any possible changes there were applied to the animations.mdl durring the MvM updates? Were there any?
aw sheet, I wanted to try making Jet Set Radio Beat's rollerblades for the Scout, but I just saw this in the Workshop

I don't know if it should discourage me because they look really cool and fitting, or if it should encourage me to know that it's possible to make rollerblades that don't look awkward on Scout.
Hey Emporiumers- I have a question.
With the Saxxies having just been announced, I have a couple plans for videos, but with the freedom of SFM, I've been thinking of expanding my horizons as to what is possible.
I'll say this: I haven't learned to use SFM, but I'm committed to taking the next few weeks to really hunker down and learn how to use it.
With that being said, if someone would be willing to contribute models to my cause, I would be eternally grateful. I may need a few major models, but if you agree to help, I'll certainly credit you greatly in the video.
Also, biggest question, has someone made a high-quality Saxton Hale model with faceposing? That's probably the most important...
Sorry to ask for so much, but I have to start somewhere.

Arguing the original theme is sort of beating a dead horse at this point. I say if it looks cool and isn't too jarring, go for it.
Also.
John Joseph Merlin experimented with single- to many-rowed devices worn on feet in 1780.[7] Inline skates, skates designed to work like ice skates during periods of warm weather, were invented by Louis Legrange of France in 1849.[8] Legrange designed the skates for an opera where a character was to appear to be skating on ice.[8] The skates were problematic and unsuccessful as the wearer could not turn nor could they stop.[8] The first U.S. patent for modern in-line skates, designed to behave like ice runners with individually sprung and cushioned wheels, was granted under patent number US 2644692 in July, 1953 to Ernest Kahlert of Santa Ana, CA. They were briefly described in the April 1950 issue of "Popular Mechanics" and again in the April 1954 issue of "Popular Science" in the section called "New Ideas from the Inventors."

The original time-based theme is long, long dead at this point. I say if it looks cool and isn't too jarring, go for it.
Looks less cool and jarring, I hate it, kill it with fire, discussion over >:C
