firstly they have the appropriate level of detail for a TF2 item
secondly why have you said MSpaint oval that is stupid
thirdly YOU DON'T JUDGE A MODEL ON IT'S FLAT TEXTURE. EVER. Most of them look fantastic in modelviewer, my personal favourite being the robotic fedora that has a shitty looking flat texture, but looks great with it's VMT.
Has anyone ever made an asian like reskin of one of the team members?

If these were community items, people would be throwing a bitch-fit on par with that thrown over the Conquistador.

Actually no, I think every single robot hat looks absolutely wonderful; the airtank and medic backpack in particular are my favorites.

they simply didn't want to waste poly count by modeling in each hole and making it completely hollow, I think it looks great eitherway. Then again, opinion in opinion; and clearly yours is different then mine.

I just don't accept whatever Valve throws into the game as being awesome and glorious. I criticize harshly because I respect the integrity of the game and don't want to see it overwhelmed with crap. A -LOT- of stuff Valve has done has been, in my opinion, under par with the rest of the game. I find it somewhat insulting given how many people in the community have submitted things far better than anything Valve has mustered lately as far as polish, yet Valve coasts while most of their stuff ends up washed into the background noise of the Workshop.

Since gamebanana is retarded, here's a TF2mods link
Also, the recent update messed up the sound mod for the classes with their theme song. I don't know why.

That's fine but don't take your opinion as fact. While I agree they should have modeled the holes it wasn't needed and if they gave the misc more detail than the original bots it would look terrible.
Hey who wants to help unwrap this, and then we can find someone to texture it.

Oh, I think the bots should've had better textures on them as well. I understand the issues this may cause technically, but it should've at least been an option to have high quality textures for those who can handle that. Since MvM uses server slots for bots, there really isn't a scenario where things get much more intense than a normal map when you hit a meatgrinder.

You seriously just said the robots should have had better textures? Good lord man what are your expectations from the tf team? I thought they looked absolutely great! Better then what I can do.

Uhh, the textures look great. Are you expecting Crysis or something?
I don't see what's wrong with the robot textures. To me they seem just as good as the regular player skins if not better.

Quinnjdq was saying that the Pyrobotics Pack was indicative of the level of detail on the robots at large. Can someone get me a shot of the backpack on the Robot Pyro?
I think there should be more cosmetic items with a lower amount of polys and a simpler texture. They blend in better with the player models and textures.
The very first TF2 cosmetics are good examples.

Why can no one just say 'Quinn', you don't have to add the jdq.
Sorry, he forgot to head today.

I love worn metal textures and this update is full of them.
Anyone know where I can find a decent workshop background? I need it because of reasons.

Looking over the early cosmetics, I don't see it.
I shouldn't really talk about texture quality, but the shotgun model has a good example of imitating depth for a hole entirely in 2d that valve could have recreated
awww, he's so cute with his little facial flexes

This is what he looks like when Medic has his creepy evil grin. But Archiemedes is so happy!

I think the Balloonicorn and Archimedes are the only items I will wear. I like going through the battlefield killing enemies with my own pet.
Are Clean and Bloody styles, or no?
RED is bloody, BLU is not.
I like how Valve is introducing more facial flex items. Archimedes is the third, hopefully they add more beards and stuff.

That's a bit disappointing. :(
