Two things:
1. It is very, very, large. Seriously, how does he stand straight holding that thing?
2. You need to make a double barrel to go with it. I know one has been made for the engie before, but still.
Should I change the color of these straps? Which color do you think? More of a red or just a gray to match the rest of the pack.

You know how Demo's eye glows when he gets Eyelander heads and how he can use such a highly possessed weapon?
He's the Shadowman, we need his voodoo mask and shades.
Plus, I never knew Royzo was in the Shadowman untill I saw this pic.

I'd also like to see the Demoman with some teashades. Hell, I'd like to see all the classes with them. Teashades are badass.

Hehe... that reminds me. I saw one of those yesterday when I was at Liseberg, Sweden's probably most notable amusement park.
It was fat as hell and jumping around outside of burger king eating left over fries.
speaking of birds I'd love a big cartoony vulture
but I don't know if it'd fit engineer or spy more
on one hand we have "wild west hurr" and then we have "spooky scavenger"
he could have either a hard hat/cowboy hat or a balaclava on
I personally think a vulture could suit sniper because he's a loner and his trademark environment is the desert. It also suits his earthy, gritty look.
A cobra or something could suit spy as snakes are commonly associated with death and deceit, especially the venomous ones.
It's quite difficult to think of an animal for engineer. Maybe a prairie dog or a herding dog puppy in his tool pouch?
An animal that's usually considered intelligent like an owl could work as well.

I think the simple and cute looking female house sparrow could make a nice contrast to the imposing heavy.

Also, this kind of mostly dull brown, low contrast coloration is usually associated with sparrows. It's probably easier for people to identify. Not to mention that this species is found all over the world.

a small prarie dog that rides around in his pouch would work, perhaps with makeshift goggles (ala The Rescuers) that match the engineer's as a style

I think it's a bit too silly to give humanlike accessories to living animals. Afaik, animals in TF2 act mostly like their real life counterparts.
If they were more anthropomorphic or stuffed animals like Roosebelt then it would be acceptable.
I really need to make the front at his chest less stupid looking.
I decided to drop the Spy vampire and make this pet gargoyle instead. Should it be a balloonicorn replacement or just on the shoulder? I'll still be making the scout werewolf shirt.

Could be a statue that sits on the shoulder during normal times, but on full moons/Halloween it hovers like a balloonicorn.

It's been a few days since MvM's release, and we've already started diving into the files that make up MvM. As it was inevitably bound, somebody was going to have to make a custom MvM mission. And here it is! Coaltown Highlander!
Bear in mind this project was one of the first of its kind and was my first project. Due to this, it will likely be rough around the edges. Please be sure to leave feedback on what you liked, what you didn't like, any bugs you've noticed or suggestions you have.
What is Coaltown Highlander, you say? Well, let me ask you something first. Is there a class that you absolutely cannot stand in MvM? Yes? Well, I've got some BAD NEWS FOR YOU. You're going to be DEALING with that bot (and a lot of it) in THIS mode!
Coaltown Highlander consists of nine waves, one for each class (except for Engineer because Valve didn't set him up right), and a final wave consisting of giant versions of all those menaces in one wave. Each wave conssts of several variants of their stock class. Each wave features at least one giant of their class at some point throughout the wave. Of these waves, the Pyro, Sniper, and Spy waves include a tank.
But wait, that's not all! Did you think that you could get by simply on killing REGULAR enemies? Well you BETTER THINK AGAIN. Not only does this mode feature obnoxious regular enemies, but it has obnoxious special ones too!
In this mode, you may see (and likely be victimized by) the following new special bots:

How to install:
To install this, you will need to download the zip file at the bottom of this post. The zip file will containt a tf folder within it. You must extract this to your server's /tf/ folder (this file is for the server only, clients do not need it). Installation does not require a server restart and should not require a mapchange.
Once it is installed, there are two ways to activate it. Either
1) Have the server admin execute "tf_mvm_popfile mvm_coaltown_highlander"
OR
2) Using the in-game voting system, call a vote to change mission and find "Highlander". Simply call a vote and if approved, it should take.
Download here (current version is 1.05)
*New installations will simply merge folders, no files should be overwritten
Updating versions will overwrite existing files. Updates should not require server restarts or mapchanges, just a re-exec of the config if it is currently playing
I need to make a promo for it, but I'm reaaally lazy and I also will be making a lot of updates, so it would mean I'd make OP work overtime. :v:

I hate to request something again after all you've done, but could you add some detail on it's scope? It's awfully flat looking in first person.
Just some unevenness so it doesn't look so plain. Something subtle like on the stock rifle could work.
Also, the white smudges on the body could be light green, light greenish gray or possibly removed altogether. Right now they make me think of chipped paint on metal or bird poo instead of wear on plastic.
Hello everyone, I like the Work you gents put into the Mod Emporium and tf2's workshop, but I'm having trouble with one of the Mods in the OP.
I feel this question might be pretty simple, but I installed the Gray team reskin by Dracon, and it doesn't seem to have worked, I opened team fortress 2's folders and actually located the Bot vtf and vmt files, and the Skins themselves are now grey, yet ingame, they appear blue like before, Is there something I'm missing, some step for replacing skins besides dragging and dropping? I'm sorry, but this is my first skin (since I'm a fan of valve's original work.) thanks in advance.
