Been waiting a while to post this on the emporium

I'm pretty much stuck on the texture so I'll probably submit it as it is right now, and if/when I decide to add more items to the pack
The lava is way to noisy. scale it up by about a 3rd of it's current size
I would say remove the gems and add some sort of actually holdable stock. Also, talk to me on steam, I'll help you out with the texture.
Should I change the color of these straps? Which color do you think? More of a red or just a gray to match the rest of the pack.

Use the color of his overalls on the straps and cream spirit (altered, regular cream spirit might be too intense) on the backpack.

Good evening, my fellow citizens. It's been a long ten months, but we of Team NotLU are finally back to announce the next big Emporium project: "Night of the Living Update 2: Return of the Night of the Living Update"!
Though last year's rules still apply, the focus this time around will be more on costumes and item sets over individual items. That does not mean that any contributions from "Night of the Living Update: Origins" would be invalid this year. Rather, the theme has expanded considerably and we're looking to produce things that might not have made the cut last time (the Tin Soldier Pack is a prime example).
Also, if you participated in last year's events and wish to remake or update your old item(s), resend them to us and we'll re-release them on a special page we're calling "Return to the Night of the Living Update: An Introspective Look Back; From Night of the Living Update 2: Return of the Night of the Living Update to Night of the Living Update: Revengeance: The Page".
Click the banner to find out more about where and how you should submit your items. Good luck and Dogspeed.
The 15th of next month doesn't feel like very much time to submit :(

agreed, even moreso when you consider the mass of content some people are going to contribute

Shouldn't that get its own thread?
The 15th of next month doesn't feel like very much time to submit :(
We're fine with giving extensions so long as you let us know that it'll be late.
Shouldn't that get its own thread?
I don't want to give the impression that this is anything but an Emporium project. I think it would be redundant to have most of the discussion concentrated in another thread.
I think the reason why it is like it is, is because they need to make custom promo pages for everything and that is pretty time consuming.
I really like the idea of a costume contest. If I can make some cool concepts I'd be delighted to join this time around. (Also nice gasmask!)

"September 15th"
no
We're fine with giving extensions so long as you let us know that it'll be late.
Just extend the whole date if you're gonna bother with extensions. It doesn't take almost a month and a half to make an update page.
I doubt I could get Ritz to model it again, but would anyone be interested in making a V2. version of the Calavera that would suppose to accompany the Flamenco last year? I also had another misc to go with it.
I know we're all Halloween minded, but the recent announcement of the Saxxies for this year got me wondering--would the Emporium be up for doing a collaborative project or no? I know there was a project set to be done already, but that was more of a mindset of using replays and standard editing. When SFM came out, it kind of fell apart.
But, with SFM in mind, we can do custom animations and make use of plenty of models (playermodels and more).
Would the Emporium be up for such a thing or no?

Well excuse me for not being a spanish-born speaker. :v:
Kidding, thanks for the correction while it's still early on.
Doesn't seem to be too much interest in the idea though.

Lies. El Muchacho should live on.

A. Fuck rigging
B. Fuck unwrapping
C. It was done in a one hour binge of tea and music
D. Explicitly based on an item from the comics, wouldn't be allowed in and probably marked incompatible.

please
Someone should make Soldier a necklace of robot fingers or something.
EDIT: Youtube apparently has 20 pages of free horror movies. Time to do some research and come back with ideas.
I need to work some more on the model, and then find a texturer.

I also need to come up with some items.
Maybe I will steal the seam from the pyro hood.
[sp]Cause I am a dirty, rotten, no good, thief.[/sp]
Yeah, right now it looks like Scout sunk his head in a mound of clay.
Yeah, right now it looks like Scout sunk his head in a mound of clay.
I think that is mainly the texture.
There is no texture to the texture.
Maybe I will normal map it.
Has anyone seen hide or hair of that old player skins pack that made everyone look like NES-styled sillohettes? I can get screenshots later if that doesn't ring any bells.

This one, but I think I am gonna stick with a more silk hood.
I think mine will look better as it looks to me like it hangs more like a silk or a fine linen.
Like one you wear in summer.

Making me want to not make mine?
